Our youngest cat got totally addicted to chasing the red dot. The old laser toy was churning thru batteries. I ordered this one and it is ever so much better. I stuck it down on top of one of the cat scratching posts, adjusted the laser's angle and let her chase to her hearts content. She runs to the post and begs for us to turn it on. It takes about a week of her getting all the chase she wants, couple times a day, before it needs a recharge. (I did have to leave the feather toy off it. The biggest cat would grab it and run off with the entire device.) Wonderful toy!

I've only had it a day and my cats love it! Good lord they won't stop playing with it. I have to seperate them out and let them take turns they get so excited. Totally worth the buy. Bigger than I thought, so they are less likely to push it over. I took a gamble on it, and it paid off. Next i'm gonna get a window mounted automatic laser pointer. (Or just build one)

I have two cats. They love it. I charged 10 mins and used almost two hours. Great product and recommended to my friend.

Other reviews or questions had said that your cat wouldn't be able to stare into it and cause damage because it keeps moving, even though it doesn't move up and down.Within the first day or two of play, I found it stopped and her staring into it. I can't let her play with it unsupervised now, which defeats the purpose. It doesn't stop for long, but it was enough to scare me.If I can find a way my feisty kitten is not likely to undo, I may clog the laser and use it for the feathers, but I'm not sure.I'd have returned it after spotting her staring into it, but I don't really know how to make a return on Amazon and have been really busy.**Edited* Fixed it and updated to 3 stars. It just needed a robo vacuum to ride on. See video.

If you have a playful indoor cat like I have, then you know how important it is to keep them moving and engaged. This is the perfect toy and I don't have to DO anything, other than push a button!

This thing is awesome. My cat loves it! Having the option to add the wand is great. And USB charging rather than batteries is such a bonus. It doesn’t take long to charge and the charge lasts for multiple uses. The only thing I wish was different is that the laser isn’t adjustable so the range is small. Meaning it points really close to the machine on the floor. I remedy this by setting it on top of a box to make the radius wider so the cat cat actually run around it. The higher the platform, the wider the radius. But even if it’s just setting on the floor it’s fine. Especially with the wand attached. You wouldn’t want it lifted while the wand was attached because the cat would just knock it over. All and all this is a great product!
