As always Carolyn Westbrook's book is fantastic. I love her books. This is the 4th book of hers that I have purchased and I just love it. I keep all of them in my living room and look at them all of the time. If you want to get ideas on French Decorating or just to get ideas this is the book to purchase. The prices of her books are very reasonable. I have numerous decorating books and these 4 are the ones that I keep going back to. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I was hoping for more of a "how to" design book for French style. While the book is lovely to look at and read, I think there are other books out there that'll give you more ideas about decorating. Of course, the title does say "French living" which is quite accurate for the book. It's more about the "how to live" than "how to decorate". It is a nice book to have but I'm still looking for more of a decorating inspiration book.

I loved this book! I now have all 4 books by Carolyn Westbrook and treasure them all. The wedding that she planned and decorated for her daughter was beautiful. I love having bits of entertaining and event decorating in a decorating book because, to me, they go hand in hand. A beautifully decorated event, such as a wedding, is just as gorgeous as a beautifully decorated room!! Keep 'um coming Carolyn!

Another romance with the French is always a pleasure. I loved the pictures and the information Carolyn Westbrook presented. She seems to have a great talent for making her books so lovely. For those who love French decorating, this would be a fine book to give or enjoy yourself.

I have all the Carolyn Westbrook books and I think this is another great one. Beautifully put together. She always seems to capture the right mix of style & comfort on each and every page. I definitely would recommend adding this to your decorating book library.

Overall it is a good book. Wish it had more detail and more pictures. Could do without the wedding and party sections.

A beautiful picture postcard house decor book! When I look through the pages I feel as I am living in wonderland ... a true fairytale!
