Great for Editing/Light to Heavy Gaming (Gamer Review)(G-SYNC COMPATIBLE)
Coming from a hardcore gamer of 15+ years. I had all the gaming monitors growing up ranging from 120hz to 240hz, in different resolutions. I love gaming but my time has been shortened as work became more frequent. I saw this monitor and noticed for one, it's 4K and can output 120hz. It's does the bells and whistle on height adjustment and yes, you can vertical tilt if wanted. It's IPS so the view angles are nice and I currently have mine going of sRGB mode for color accuracy. I use a RTX 4080 Super for display out. I have used it for watching YouTube videos and shows within my first 2 hours of owning. NO DEAD PIXELS on arrival which is soo nice. I get very nervous about buying new monitors because of quality but Dell has done a good job. I do use it in Display port and not HDMI as this model has display. If you want HDMI with mini display, go for the QC model. Booting up was no trouble at all, ease of setup. Went to my nivida panel and enabled 120hz off the bat. The monitor does have G-Sync Compatibility but not CERTIFIED. However, it will work. I use the monitor on normal response for viewing and fast for gaming. I tested Warframe and Destiny 2 and Oblivion remastered all at high settings. The monitor keeps up for gaming but I wouldn't buy if you're fully going in for gaming. Dell has other options if like them. All an all, great monitor, great display, HDR works perfectly and the speakers. I almost forgot, the speakers have sound profiles built in so no need to tune if you're not an audiophile. Colors look good, I'm not one for vibrancy but it'll do good for the common Joe needing that quality that Dell has put out for this year.

Perfect for dorm rooms, I reccommend. (comes with 2.1 hdmi btw)
First off, save yourself some money because this comes with a 2.1 HDMI cable. wish I knew that. Otherwise, I absolutely love it, I bought a monitor arm stand to go with this and they paired perfectly, so don't worry if you don't like the stand, it was extremely easy to put together, though I can't speak for the stand that it comes with because I didn't use that. The settings are very comprehensive with a wide range of versatile options for quality like a video game hdr mode and a movie hdr mode. Maybe I'm dumb but its pretty annoying to get the cardboard back into the box after you assemble the monitor.

Great monitor that simply works and works well.
A very nice 4K monitor that does exactly what I needed a 27" monitor to do. Arrived in good shape, although the motor box was inside another box that had barely any packing, so the monitor was free to move around a lot inside the outer box. Fortunately, the monitor arrived in one piece, could easily have gone the other way. Great screen, the matte finish is exactly what I need next to the window this monitor is sitting by. Colors are very nice .... actually suffice to say I struggle to describe just how well this monitor works because it simply works and works well. I've never thought to myself, if this monitor only .... glad I purchased this at this price point, highly recommended.

Okok, I may be bi-polar O.o (sorrrrrry!)
UPDATE THURSDAY Oct 16 — Hi hi! Ok so yeah... Ummmm It was an issue with meh dongle, not the monitor :D lol, I just ummm... Get a little "manic" and over-do it :D lolol, ok, so Monitors good, still yellowish tint but that's largely cause I've been too lazy/busy to f' with it, otherwise super clean, just, umm, yeah. :D Will update again if anything actually does go wrong lololol! UPDATE Mon Oct 13 - DAYS past return window.... Ok so yeah, nope, don't get this, all the text suddenly just out of nowhere began to distort, it's continuing to get worse as I type this. holy crap. lol. wtf. I better get a refund or replacement. Gonna be rambling tl;dr — I can’t do the color-sync… at least, I’m trying to set the colors to be natural and not so yellow tinted, it’s causing migraines, otherwise, GORGEOUS monitor… So I’ve recently come into some money, mostly, got too sick from COVID and lost my house, so, the money from losing something I’ll likely never afford again, anyways, it’s been about a decade since I purchased a monitor, or rather, my pops RIP, gifted me his monitors which were DELL, very well built like this monitor but totally ugly gray and black and they worked fantastically, they still work fantastically! My want was for the 4k right? Ok. So this monitor, feels as hefty and as well built as those nigh-decade-lasting ones. The picture quality is phenomenal, but the color, is way way way way off, it doesn’t make sense, this is my second one, third if you count my now returned 34” version, which is mostly being returned due to some misinformation via the ChatBot and my being manic and not as aware as I should’ve been I think, still though, gotta get your chatbot up to the job ;) lol, I SHOULD be able to rely on it especially in this context(I build the LLM stuffs to :) but anyway, that gave migraines I think due to the non-4k resolution(I’m still confused about that and feel so stupid cause, I, I should know lolol? But I am confused, I feel ashamed lol) and the yellow tint… Gah I’m so sad I love these monitors they’re gorgeous so freaking well built, but that yellow tint does not agree with my eyes and I can’t figure out how to remove it and have it match the LG I got also, yes, yes, I went on a “buying spree” not intending to but, like, spending over $100 on anything, I feel like, you deserve to get what you’re expecting when your expectations are simply that which are told to you, rather, I’m only ever expecting what’s in the specs, I’m not over-zealous, just, strict and perhaps petty, also totally lost track of what I was saying so I’ll wrap up here lol. If I can fix the yellow hue/tint (? lol?) this will become a 5+ rating. If not. There’s no reason for it to not be salvageable so if it isn’t, will drop stars. As the disappointment I feel with how beautiful and well made and how good the quality of the picture is, being scrapped because some color lock exists, is so absurd. I hope I’ ve just been experiencing some dumb and it works out. lol Cause omg compared to the same priced LG which is only 60hz(btw I personally don’t notice any difference, I think I’m getting too old for my age (covid f’d me up, bad ) and the way I’m afraid that were I to bump that monitor it would shatter, lol, but it’s picture, specifically is white, is pristine! But damn ugly. lol Sorry for writing so weird, hoping one day my brain returns…. ☺️😞

Excellent monitor
I purchased the monitor mainly for IT work and also for trading so I can get candle stick charts on on a large display. I originally purchased two FHD monitors and the quality was so bad and the sound was below par. I winded up returning and carefully hunting for something affordable and solid. I found this, checked reviews and made the purchase. I am blown away. The picture quality is like the OLED TVs you see at Costco. Also the sound us so good and crisp that I won't be needing additional speakers. I tested 4k+ videos and OMG it is a new addiction. The graphics is better than my new macbook Air and also my new Lenovo workbook performance laptop which is a high end with i9 core and Nvidia GPU 8GB graphics card. I see incredible details on the monitor versus laptop screen. I am super satisfied with thisbpurchase. One odd issue is I am not able to control the brightness on the monitor and it us grayed out for me. I checked other peoples reviews and no one else complained so I think it migh lt just ve my case. I will figure it out. Also I notice when I am on the highest resolution settings. The refresh rate would go above 60hz. If I change it to a lower resolution it can go higher. I need to investigate this. One other reviewer mention the monitor prompted him for an update so I will explore that as well.

Impressive
This monitor is impressive, let alone 'for its price' - I would put this in the top 3 monitors of bang/buck ratio, for a basic, no-frills, but just straight up delivers well. 4K resolution with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR, and has 2 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort input; and you can use a small menu to swap inputs, or an app to set hotkeys. Oh, and so far, I haven't seen it flicker with HDR on web browsing while scrolling, unlike my Dell gaming monitor (G3223Q) which does it enough that I end up turning off HDR most of the time. I bought this one, and an Ultrasharp with nearly the same model number. The U came with all sorts of credentials and certifications, and in the end, my wife, who is a graphics designer, said the S2725QS one felt more-right and the U, and at i2.5x cost, the U is headed back for a refund. In the end, this monitor has just the right size, functions to be a solid all-purpose monitor and does it at a price point I'm seriously thinking of 'standardizing' on it.

DON'T BUY UNTIL YOU READ THIS!
3 Separate Monitors all FAILED within 6 months. I spent 2 hours each time with support to get a new one shipped and to return the old one. First issue was the screen would randomly shut off and became more frequent like every 15 seconds. The second time the menu would open by itself and endlessly scroll unable to be shut down. The third time the screen went black and now stays black with not even the menu settings popping up. The first time I returned the old one they claimed I didn't sent it back and they tried to charge me for a new monitor. I had to prove to them that I did indeed send it. I am now on the phone for the third time and about to spend another 2 hours and won't accept another replacement. I am demanding my full money back. I will never buy another Dell product in my life. In addition to the hours I spent with support I also had to pack and ship 2 damaged computers back and that took about an hour of my time. I expect I will need to pack and ship this broken one back as well. If you purchase this monitor after reading about my experience you would be extremely foolish. Update - After the first call I was hung up on and the operator pretended like she couldn't hear me. The chat support and email support that I usually use for this process was grayed out and not available to me anymore and I think that move was purposeful on Dell's part. I always like to have a paper trail of evidence and of what was said, but with phone support you don't get that. This time the phone support was my only option. I was speaking with Madu who refused to give me any sort of employee ID. I told him I have video evidence of the screen being broken. Touching the buttons on the back doesn't bring up any menus, tried switching to all new cables and did all the standard tests. He said that since it has been over 120 days that it is past the warranty and he cannot offer my money back or even a fourth replacement. When I heard him say this I went to grab my wife's phone to record him and let him know that he was being recorded. I asked him to say again what he just told me on the record and he would not repeat it. I told him that I have receipts that show when I purchased the monitor and it is not even 6 months old and it definitely has a 1 year warranty as all electronics do in the United States. It is even written in the Dell policy that they provide a 1 year warranty but he told me 120 days and then would not repeat himself on record. I am now going to have to do a chargeback on my credit card which absolutely sucks because they will make me get a new card and I will need to figure out everything that it is connected to and reconnect it again. I am absolutely going to make a lengthy REDDIT post warning of ILLEGAL practices by DELL. They are selling this monitor knowing that it is flawed from the factory. Instead of taking the faulty monitors off the shelves they are continuing to sell them and letting the customers get screwed.

The image is clear and Bright, it's the perfect set up, great product, highly recommend!
The image quality is excellent, very bright, vibrant colors, and the monitor's appearance on my desk is awesome! I particularly like the clean line look, the very small bezel the way it moves up and down and tilts. I would highly recommend this product.

high quality
I recently picked up the Dell 27 Plus 4K Monitor – S2725QS, and honestly, the quality is amazing. The 4K resolution looks super crisp, and everything just feels so sharp and detailed. Watching videos, gaming, and even just doing schoolwork on it feels like such an upgrade. The 120Hz refresh rate makes everything look really smooth too, which I didn’t realize I’d appreciate this much until I started using it. The IPS panel looks great from every angle, and the colors are really nice and vibrant with the 99% sRGB coverage. It just feels premium overall. Even the design in ash white looks clean and modern on my desk. The built-in speakers are decent for casual use, and I like that it has ComfortView Plus to reduce eye strain since I’m on my computer a lot. My only complaint is that I really wish they included a DisplayPort cable in the box. For a monitor at this level, it would’ve been nice to have everything ready to go without needing to buy an extra cable separately. Overall though, I’m super satisfied with it. The picture quality and smoothness make it totally worth it, and it really upgraded my whole setup.

Great 4K monitor for the price
Just got it today and fired it up. Colors are gorgeous and pop like crazy. HDR looks very good despite 400 Nits rating. Color accuracy is VERY GOOD according to Rtings.com and I agree. It's an IPS screen with a 1500/1 dynamic range. In a well lit room, blacks look black so no concern there. Two main reasons I bought this set: 120 Hz and fully adjustable stand. I also like that OK speakers are built in. This is a really nice looking monitor that performs great! I am super happy with this purchase and definitely recommend it, especially if you got it on sale as I did!

120Hz 4K Brilliance, great for Work and Play
I picked up the 27-inch 4K S2725QS, and honestly, it’s been a fantastic monitor. The IPS panel delivers stunning colours, bright, vivid, and razor-sharp, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel super smooth. I’m using it with my M1 MacBook Pro. A heads-up for other Mac users: the HDMI port won’t push 120Hz, so you’ll need a USB-C to DisplayPort cable (shout-out to Dell support team who pointed that out to me). I grabbed one for about $20, and now I’m getting the full 120Hz with no issues. Performance-wise, it’s crystal clear with zero ghosting, and the color accuracy looks great right out of the box. The ergonomic stand is a plus, you can swivel, tilt, or even rotate it vertically for coding, which is super handy. The design is clean and minimal, with slim bezels and a neat cable management clip on the back. It looks great on my desk. I’ve also hooked it up to my PS5, and games look crisp and fluid. Overall, it’s an excellent 4K monitor, sharp, minimal, and versatile. Couldn’t be happier with it.

Perfect console companion to maximize features
Amazing specs for the price, you won’t find better. Performance surpassed my expectations. I have it on a swinging wall mount monitor arm to easily tuck it to the wall when not in use. Very light weight and nice looking. Works great for both my Xbox and PC. Takes advantage of both 4k and 120Hz on hdmi 2.1, a rare find these days in monitors with the rise of DisplayPort use.
