The price is fantastic and print quality very good. I just wish the printed instructions in the box were more complete. I peeled off the yellow tab as instructed. I then noticed a seal over one of the holes and I mistakenly (I discovered) removed it too. After printing 3 pages the printer stopped with an error message about the ink system. I then looked at my order on Amazon and saw the full instructions there. Unfortunately too late. Tried to buy just the yellow on its own but ended up buying a whole set. Please add full instructions for us novices.

Bought this for my son's HP 8610 printer in anticipation of existing cartridges running out soon. It sat in original packing for 45-60 days before being installed in the printer. To begin with, the Black print quality was acceptable but the Color Print quality (especially Cyan & Magenta) was never of acceptable quality. Color print always had gaps between the characters, and color print always seemed faded. Since printing was primarily used for school stuff and 90% in black, we were kind of ok with it. To our surprise, sparingly used color cartridges went dry very quickly (less than 15% remaining) within the first couple of months. Assumed that kids might have printed some color pages, and was still ok with me. But the last straw that broke the camel's back was when the printer stopped working with an error in the printer-head system. Examined and found that black ink cartridge was leaking. Had to spend $60+ at the local repair shop for print-head repair and body cleaning. First time using this brand, not worth it.

After having pricing shock of $90.00 for three XP color replacement from Sam's. I decided to give them try. Each color replacement unit was 1.9 oz. I did not get weight on the HP but empty one weight 1.0 oz.1. Great packaging2. Good instructions3. Tape that seals the ink port was very hard to remove on all of the colors.4. Have not had to use the black replacement unit that came with the items purchased.5. Understand the $90.00 units from Sams did not include the black replacement unit.Not we have to use the replacement units and see how they perform over time.

Pulled little strip off & had to tell my HP office jet printer I knew it was not a real HP cartridge one time. After that it works just like a HP one does! Cant tell any differences other than my paper isnt as wet as when I use HP ones which I actually like! Hoping these last longer because of that. Sooo glad I found these & decided to try them!!! And may I add their customer service is amazing I got an email explaining if this or that was to happen when I first installed what to do which I didn’t need but was nice to have! Awesome awesome customer service!!!!

We've ordered these a lot in the past and they are excellent cartridges. However, this set was not very good and it appears we are still having print quality issues.Otherwise, we haven't had an issue before. First time for everything. 🤷‍♀️

Unfortunately the black ink cartridge disables the printer and repeatedly gives a message "There is a problem with the printer or ink system." After working with a support rep who graciously refunded my money and sent out a replacement, I was able to reproduce the same problem. Beware if you have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 printer!I would like to give a better rating due to the efforts of the customer service rep, but this is a review of the product. The product description says it works for my printer but it doesn't, therefore I can only give the lowest rating.

I was so skeptical of ordering these. Then decided I didn't have much to lose. Other than a lot of money if I ordered the HP cartridges. These came in and loaded perfectly. No issues at all! I would buy these again and again. Even if the life isn't as long as the HP life, this is still a better deal all day long. I am sorry... but I honestly do not know why HP charges so much for ink. I love having my own printer at home. But this is a game changer! Order them, you won't be sorry!
