Does a good job securing the backup secondary
This backup reg holder works pretty well. It definitely seems more durable than the bungee type holders and as a big plus, this will keep most sand, muck or other debris out of the mouthpiece. It does require a pretty stout yank to pull out the reg, but that also probably depends a bit on the mouthpiece you have on the reg, the stiffer the mouthpiece the more effort it will take to pull out. The only drawback experienced so far is that due to the pretty much vertical orientation clipped to the BCD, occasionally during a giant stride entry, the purge button hits squarely on the water and sends the reg into freeflow.
