First Crush Gen2 Automated Pill Crusher

While it is costly, this product is a godsend. It effectively crushes pills (even several at a time) so that medication can easily be mixed with applesauce (or other substrate) for ingestion. Saves wrist from crushing pills several times a day in old-style pill crusher. Worth every penny and won’t go back to old way ever!

II purchased this crusher and have used it for less than a month and it does not work properly. Having issues with it charging I’m guessing. Some days I can’t even get it to turn on. I have purchased 2 other crushers from this brand and both have worked fine. I received it and didn’t actually have to start using it for a month not realizing I would be out of time frame to return. Cannot get anyone to respond to message sent. Complete waste of almost 400 dollars!

Bought this for my aunt and she loves it. I use it too when I visit her and it is much easier than the manual models. It is pretty quiet and doesn't take long at all (maybe a little over 10 seconds) and doesn't leave chunks. It is easy to mix the powder since you dont have to get it out of a pouch. I am happy that we can crush more than one pill at a time too. Be sure to check some references before you crush - we learned that there are a few pills that should not be crushed like some extended release pills. Convenient Pill Crusher

Do not buy this product it's deceiving and doesn't work very well

This machine works very well to grind pills. Though it is easy to use, it was difficult to teach my 91 year old mother to use the 2 cup system.

I purchased this heavy duty, electric grinder in May of 2021 and have been using it daily since then. For over 20 years I have been grinding medications and supplements for my tube-fed, adult disabled son. Many of the tablets are large and very hard. Prior to getting this, I used mortar and pestles, electric coffee grinders (they were lasting about 2-3 months), as well as other manual crushers. This one has been the best, has lasted the longest, and has been so much easier on my arms.When using this, I still use a pill splitter on the larger really hard tablets, which usually enables this to crush even those well. Once in a while I have to follow up with the mortar and pestle, but not often.

I own two of these pill crushers and both have the same issue with power/batteries. The system is using a 14.5 VDC battery yet they supply it with a 24V power supply. Is it a 12 V system or a 24 V system? I bought 2 new batteries earlier this year, they both seem to never hold a charge. When I first bought one of these, it would run for a week or more with no charging required. Now, I am luckily to get a day maximum out of the batteries. Also, the nut plates that hold the inner and outer lid together, need reinforced. There is a lot of pressure exerted during the grinding process, both of mine show spider cracks on all nut plates. Under the right leadership, this could be a really good product. There is a roomer that the company is up for sale, if so I hope the new owners fix the problems of what otherwise is a very good product.

This is ideal for our use. We have an elderly pet/cat that for the last two years has required medications but will not swallow pils. We have been manually crushing the pills, but that is tedious and difficut. Now we use First Crush every day, and it makes it so simple, I wish we had discovered it earlier!
