Stiff at first, but loosened after a few rides.
I purchased these pedals to pair with my Origin8 Pro Pulsion Single Speed Crankset. They came ready to install and I had no issues attaching them to the crankset. I was concerned at first, because the pedals seemed a little stiff, so I wasn't sure that they wouldn't spin properly while riding. By the third ride they were no longer stiff and spinning just fine. I put about 300 miles on them so far and I haven't noticed a single issue. The pedal, cage, and strap all seem very durable.

Good if you need to wear regular shoes
They do a good job keeping your toes secure and your foot in contact with the pedal plate. Only complaint is the strap feels flimsy.These are just an intermediate step for those who are getting into cycling. I understand people have different needs for pedals ie if you need to wear shoes. But if you're just getting into cycling, you should upgrade to clipless (clip-on) pedals - It's worth it.

Great pedal for the money. Good value
Just what I was looking for. After a knee operation I found it easier to get out of a clip style pedal than a clip on. These appear to be well made.

A good choice
I bought these to replace the stock pedals on my bike. They are very sturdy and easy to get my feet into. If you are concerned about weight for reasons, these might not be the pedals for you. They do exactly what they are supposed to do.

Wanted to save up for nice pair of clipless shoes and pedals so I'm using straps for now these pedals are nice big step up from regular pedals

Solid product for the price. Not designed for big feet. I would say if you are larger than a size 10, go with another style. Practice exiting and stopping around the neighborhood BEFORE you hit the roads. It may save your body (or life)!
