Scalpel Handle #3L (Bard-Parker)

This is a 3L scalpel handle of moderate to low quality, but you should know this is NOT a Bard Parker (BP) branded handle. I assume that by labeling it as BP, they are saying it is of BP style only. The brand & manufacturer is Nifty. I give it 3 stars because this is one of the few handles from which I can REMOVE and install a #10 blade with just my fingers. A #10 blade doesn't stoutly snap into position and remain in position. The same will apply to other blade configurations as well. I WILL be searching for a better quality 3L handle. I believe the use of BARD PARKER in the title is deceptive and should be removed. McKesson makes better scalpel handles than this. It's not so Nifty. My opinion is based on many years of employment as a Surgical Tech while in college.
