Used for a different purpose but was PERFECT
Idk about how well they work in hockey but they're perfect for my 3-ton Daytona Super Duty Jack.

good for multiple purposes, not just hockey
i was looking for a firearms 'bench block'. most were expensive and not well made.i found the use of hockey pucks as bench blocks mentioned in a blog, so i bought these. with some minor modifications (if desired) works as good or better as a true mass produced bench block and you get multiple ones for a good price.now, i don't play hockey, but if i did, this looks like a rock solid hockey puck.recommended for multiple purposes.

I don't play ice hockey.
But I do use these for my laser cutter to hold my project material down flat. I also use this in my shop for my lifts so I don't have metal on metal wear. While I don't play ice hockey these things are super handy for other things I do.

Outstanding for use as Bench Blocks
These are great - for my purposes. I didn't order them for hockey, but rather for use as "bench blocks". I'm always needing a rubber block for driving roll pins, hammering on small items, etc. I drilled holes in a couple of them (again, for driving out pins) with a drill press. I've had these about two weeks now, and have already found many, many uses for them. They seem to be the perfect consistency for my needs....and seem to be super high quality. Looks like I'll be needing more!Incidentally, I have Czech Rubena brand tires on one of my bikes - they have been fantastic...very stylish and durable. So after great experience with their bike tires and hockey pucks, I will be watching out for other items from Rubena.

Makeshift RAM A CAN mount for phone
Hmmm how to review hockey pucks............. Actually I used them for something other than hockey. I was looking for a way to mount my phone in my mustang. there is not much space so I decided to use the cup holder as a place to start. I looked up RAM mounts who have an extensive listing of mounting possibilities. They have a product called RAM A CAN which fits in a cup holder to mount your RAM mounts to. They are proud of it though, the cheapest I found it for was $25-$30. So I bought these pucks, screwed them together with deck screws and installed the mount. The pucks have enough size and weight to keep my old man phone (big iPhone) secure in the holder. If anyone needs a photo let me know, I'll post one.

Excellent anti-vibration and anti-skid feet
While these pucks may slide beautifully on ice they make surprisingly excellent anti-skid and anti-vibration feed for machinery. The high-quality rubber machines cleanly (to accept a bolt and washer for instance), and they don't have a disgusting smell to them. I've picked up sets for most of my shop machinery that isn't on casters or rollers. Highly recommended!

Great Spacers to Raise Couch for Robovac!
Like most (all?) reviewers, I didn't get these to use for hockey. We recently got a robovac (Eufy 12) that has a low profile but still needed about another quarter to half inch to get under our sofa and love seat. Enter the hockey pucks! The feet on our furniture have about a 3.5 inch diameter, and these 3 inch diameter by 1 inch tall pucks work well to raise things. We attached them to the bottom of the feet with some heavy duty double sided carpet tape. Our Eufy now loves going under the sofa and love seat!

Great item for jacking up your car to change a tire...
I bought mine from "Afterschool com" (Quidsi Retail) here on Amazon... I wanted a way to jack up my car to change a tire with my hydraulic jack instead of my scissor jack. As you know, jacking up a car with a scissor jack takes a long time. I heard of many modifying hockey pucks to fit like a scissor jacks but installed on a hydraulic jack. To buy that type would cost around $30 and up. So, like others I simply designed mine to look like the lifting part of the car's scissor jack top. It works great (I've use it so far 9 times already) plus it's easier on the unibody lifting points on my car. And using the hydraulic jack takes less than half the time needed to jack up the car. I put up pictures on Amazon to show how I designed it. It's labeled Fig 1, 2 and Fig 3.
