Q: Is this food too big for a 5 lb yorkie to eat?

It is about 1.6 inch long and 1/8 inch thick. My 11 pound Yorkie Poo can eat it but he prefers the small breed size one from V-dog brand.

Q: Dogs have mostly canine teeth! carnivore teeth! do you think that dogs or cats can be healthy with vegan food? I am almost vegan myself.

My 61-lb AmStaff / pit bull girl has been eating this stuff, plus the Natural Balance vegan canned food, for 6½ years now, and she's as healthy and strong as any AmStaff / pit bull you've ever seen. I also have a 40-lb rat terrier / pit bull mix who's been eating both for 8 years, ever since I found her at 8 months old; a 4-yr-old 40-lb coonhound / beagle mix who's eaten both since I took her in 15½ months ago; and a 6-yr-old coonhound who's eaten both for almost 4 months now. He's a recent rescue from the local county animal shelter. He weighed 49 lbs when I got him in early April, kinda skinny; but he weighed 56 the other day. My target for him is 60 lbs, and he should hit that soon, in maybe another month. I'm beefing him up gradually. All four dogs gobble both the kibble and the canned right up and are doing great. Their poops look like dark brown Tootsie Rolls most of the time.

The bag is three layers of paper. The inner layer has a thin plastic layer that is glued to the paper. The outer layer contains the trade mark and product description. The middle layer looks to be heavy brown paper. The entire package seems to be well made with good materials.
