Tarhun Chernogalovka

Taste like jager but no alcohol I can drink all day.

My curiosity for this drink has finally been satisfied. It is very refreshing. I will definitely buy this again.

Every now and then, I like to try new foods or beverages, especially foreign or exotic ones. Tarhun Chernogalovka looked interesting so I ordered it and waited for it to arrive. The product came in a glass bottle, but it was carefully packaged and handled to prevent damage.The flavor of tarragon is somewhat familiar, almost similar to anise or licorice, but it's definitely a unique flavor compared to the average American soft drinks. Overall, it's a unique, enjoyable drink, and although I most likely wouldn't purchase again due to the high cost, it is an inspiration to try new flavors in homemade beverages.

Initially purchased for beautiful bottle. Fell in love with the flavor. Tarragon flavor is delicate, anise competes for the palate. (Not crazy about licorice/arak but I loved this.) The soda itself is sweet and best stretched with seltzer water. I can guarantee a lightened Tarhun paired with a botanical libation would be a welcome surprise to a spring/summer event.

I live in America, and I've never drank anything like this before. The taste is very unique - there is a sharp sweetness to it that tastes like ginger ale with herbs added to it, if that makes sense. I don't think I'll be buying more of these on Amazon, given the price, but it was definitely worth exploring new tastes like what this drink offers. If I ever see these in a supermarket, I'll be getting some.

So this drink ended up tasting much sweeter than I thought it would. Interesting parsley herb notes as well.

Thank you Boris. Water of Chernobyl is very good to my taste buds. Packaged well. Arrived early. Has a refreshing light taste which i find easy to chug for the chernobyl experience without the radiation. 10 out 10!

I always wanted to try this soda. after seeing it joked about many times in Life of Boris. I have scratched my itch. a single bottle was more than enough for a life time. I don't even think i finished the whole bottle before it went flat in my fridge from lack of interest. The soda is insanely sweet (think double Pepsi) the flavor is a vague Tarragon/Fennel flavor to it. I think it would be great as a mixer for a drink.
