Not supposed to be different colors. There mixing with cheaper gel
I’ve been using this gel for over 25 years and never was it a yellow color. I Submitted 2 picks of what I received and Even switched sides of the pictures so you can see the difference. I just hope your not Mixing number eight with a different gel like yellow

Does the Trick!
I'm a curly girl, so I need gel in my life to keep my hair under control. It has a very pleasant scent and the texture is just how you would expect gel to be, but maybe a little thicker. I only wash my hair every 10-14 days, so I honestly have only used this gel a handful of times. I put it in (with a few other products) when my hair is wet from washing. It has a nice enough hold and after my hair has been dried and scrunched, it doesn't leave your hair feeling crunchy. The bottle was quite easy to squeeze and it came out much easier than many other squeeze containers. It is also a very large bottle (compared to the size of other gels), so I think this will last me a long, long time! (especially since I don't wash my hair very often)

Light to medium hold no flaking. Very good value. I've purchased multiple times for a year.

Styling gel
This has a very great hold. It doesn’t make my hair greasy like similar leave-in products. I’ve also used this product in some of my craft products bc of the great suspension quality. Will purchase again.

No Flaking. All day hold. Shiny look!
Best stuff out there period. Been using it since my high school days. Around 1996. Same formula never went bald and it never flakes. This is the golden gel of the century.
