Such nice quality. Ordered them for a Human Shrek Costume I did and people gave compliments on the style of the shoe and how authentic they looked. I recommend.

Received these today in timely manner for the Ohio renaissance festival. Overall I'd score this as a good find on short notice. I wanted a pair of low cut mocks for long term wear at such festivals and reenactments. These give me the look I was wanting so five stars for appearance. Not everything I was hoping for. They are not genuine leather (credit as mentioned) although they have an authentic swade mock look if they hold that appearance over time. The tie strap is of shoe string material so I will be replacing that with a genuine leather tie string. These loafers do have a soul which makes them good for sturdy walking and I will say the soal is low profile and well concealed from view so it doesn't Interfere with the genuine mock look. I wear a size 8 & 1/2 and ordered size small 8-9D(m) medium US. They of a good comfortable fit and I'd have no problem wearing these on any given day. Low quality for the price. For the money spent I'd recommend shopping around for a good quality genuine leather mock. Bring the price down and I'll give them five stars. I'll keep you posted on how they hold up.

The boots look good, the color is true to the picture. The flap is adjustable thanks to the tie so if you want to wear it over jeans or not you can adjust. They do run big, very big. The label says M (10-11) but the pair I got is at least an 11 1/2, they were loose on me even wearing sweatsocks. Not sure if I should go down another size or wear two pairs of socks.I decided to return these and get one size smaller. Customer support was a breeze, they sent a replacement pair immediately. But the smalls were too small, they felt like 9 1/2. So if you have a size 10-10 1/2 neither of these sizes are likely to fit you. Hopefully the manufacturer will make a new size between these two.

Quite surprised by both quality as well as service. Needed the boots quickly for a surprise trip to local Ren Faire after costume change and needed the boots. Was very hesitant to order shoe items online but the reviews sold me. I was even more scared when the expected delivery date was possibly the day of till a few days AFTER the event. Not only did I get the shoes within the two days Amazon Prime shipping schedule but the fit was very good. When I took them out of the box and looked at them, I was like "Oh no, these are not going to fit!" But after unstrapping the tie and putting my foot into it, the shoe was perfect. My only complaint is there should be some kind of instruction card to help the buyer retie the shoe laces if they come apart. Mine did and now I have to rig them up a different way because I can't figure out how the laces originally secured the shoes.

Bought these for a show that I am in. Great look. Didn't realize that the ties were decorative and actually are slip on boots., so I retied them, but they don't look as nice as how they came. Since it is a specialyty knot, having a guide on how to retie it would be great. They do run a little big. I wear a 12 and the size says 12-13. I am wearing 2 pairs of athletuc socks, but they are a little loose. If I would have ordered a size down, I am sure they would be perfect.

I wanted to chime in and say that these boots are exactly as advertised and are working quite well. I am going to wear them as part of a costume for a production of King Lear. They are comfortable and look fantastic. Since I haven't had them very long I do not have an opinion of their long term durability, but wearing them through a full rehearsal was a comfortable experience.The normal street shoes I purchase are sized anywhere from 10 to 12 depending on the manufacturer and I have very wide feet. I purchased the 10-11 D(M) US and they fit great.

I wore these to a very muddy, and eventually pouring with rain, Renaissance festival. They were very comfortable for the entire trip and stayed on well. They were only very slightly too large for my feet. I'd give them 5 stars if the tying method was a bit less convoluted; a friend and I each bought our own pair and we each had to come up with our own tying techniques. Otherwise, as mentioned before, they were comfortable and held up well.

Around the ancle area there is a lil more room than personally I would like, But I also didnt do any wraps or anything just some thick socks. I was surprised, I have had these for a few years now, really only using them at cons when we did Robin Hood Men In Tights as a group, but also used them at a local renfair. It had rained one day and the grounds were wet the entire weekend. We had mud, very wet grass, puddles, and clay. The amount of surprise I had that the entire weekend walking through that type of terrain and not a single issue.... these things are worth it for some stage shoes or just cosplay shoes.

When I was putting on the loafer, I thought theses are tight and going to be too small. Thats the last time I will listen to me. Put the loafer on and WALLA fit perfectly. Snuggle but quite comfortable. No need to send these back, they look good, they are light. Souls are thin but I will get good wear out of them. Pleasantly surprised.
