Flexible Kitchen Tap Aerator Swivel Nozzle Sprayer F22mm / M24mm

I bought this item because it seemed to be a very good idea, useful for sluicing around the sink and rinsing dishes. I read the reviews and noted that a lot of people had problems with the item leaking at the joint. However, I'm pretty useful at DIY and thought that with sufficient washers I could fit it successfully. I was wrong. I fitted it with the one washer provided and guess what - water spraying everywhere. No problem I would remove it and fit another washer. The item is in two parts and when you try to remove it, you just unscrew the back nut, (the compression part) and the threaded end is still in the end of the tap with only a few threads protruding. The only way you can get this out is with a pair of grips and a very strong grip. Obviously this destroys the threads so the item is useless!!When the item was delivered, there was a note in the packaging, (from plumbing4Home.com) which said 'If you have any problems with purchased items please contact us FIRST on [email protected] before you decide to leave negative feedback. We promise to give you a satisfied solution within 24hrs' I did this and set out the problem as described above. Guess what, a couple of weeks later I still have NOT had any response.The item is of Spanish manufacture, (Barcelona) and I'm not sure if there is some mismatch between that and British taps which might be the problem? If you are considering purchasing this item my advice is that, unless you are quite sure it will fit your tap perfectly, then save your cash. As far as I'm concerned, it's nearly £17 down the drain.

Well made and great for hosing down awkward areas around the sink, but why make the the male connection to the tap so deep there are too many threads and you have to add another washer to make a seal if your tap end has just a few threads.I was lucky to find a washer buried in my toolbox that did the job and just about stopped the water escaping from the connection.

not suitable for our tap as it could not be fitted. Had to purchase adaptor separately causing further expense which was also useless. I previously purchased another swivel extension from another firm at a much smaller price and which also included an adaptor and which worked 100%

Great quality but leaks through the stem and is very annoying fits the tap perfectly so it is a real shame about the leaking.

my water pressure was so high and there was a lot of wastage. Purchased this and pressure is just right. Only wish could change flow to spray when needed

Good quality but will not stay where you point it - returns back to original position.

Was worried that I ordered the wrong size but thank god it all turned out perfect. I now don't get a soaking wet tummy when I do my washing up. Just waiting to see how sturdy it is and how long it will last but highly recommended. Thank you

Looks good but leaked and reduced the pressure of the hot tap to a poor stream.
