In response to negative reviews about the flavor, Genexa recently made some product updates. I first ordered this in July 2025 and the taste was so-so. I reordered in November of 2025 surprised to see a change in shape, taste, and texture. These aren’t supposed to be candy, but the taste is a bit better now. I never had major complaints with the first bottle, though. Also, they are now less chalky, so that’s a plus. As far as effectiveness goes, I have been very pleased! I’ve struggled with acid reflux increasingly in the latter half of my pregnancy and these antacids have been a lifesaver (effectiveness has not changed with the update)! I particularly struggled with being woken in the middle of the night by painful acid reflux. A great fix/preventative step for me is to take one tablet right before bed and I haven’t been woken by pain since!

Saw these as an alternative for pepto bismol and I say it’s worth the buy! On the medium side but it tastes better and helps faster to me than pepto bismol. Definitely would recommend this product. And the flavor was good as well.

I was looking for a healthier, cleaner option for regular old school Tums antacids, and these fit the bill. They have a better ingredient list (less junk), and work well. I wish they came in a plain option (without the coloring/ flavoring), but otherwise they are excellent if you need a simple calcium carbonate based antacid and don't want the sweeteners/ artificial stuff. Only downside is that they are out of stock at times, so maybe stock up and order less often.

Works but do not like the taste of this flavor. Like the other flavor much better.

We love these! The flavor isn't bad, and they do a great job for someone with heartburn. My husband uses antacids regularly, and these seem to be more effective than Tums or any generic brand. The size of the bottle is perfect, albeit a very loud bottle when being poured, and we are satisfied with the price. Love that they are cleaner, feel better about regular use.

So effective and gentle! No artificial junk—just relief I can trust.

I get terrible heartburn throughout pregnancy, both times. I have these on auto-ship now because they're the only antacid medicine I feel comfortable taking during pregnancy. There is a ridiculous amount of nasty ingredients in other brands of both antacids and other heartburn-relieving medicines. This product is the ONLY brand that has actually pure ingredients. Even the "natural" versions of other brands have artificial dyes. I 100% recommend this - it works well, it tastes good, and I don't have to worry but putting harmful chemicals in my body. My only suggestion is to please make a mint version!! I'm getting a little sick of the berry one, and my brain always thinks that the white means peppermint anyway!

New texture sucks and the flavor leaves a bitter after taste. Bring back the old formula!
