Our FAVORITE Harness
This is and will forever be my favorite harness. The front control has been a lifesaver for me and my Great Dane - we tried EVERYTHING before stumbling on this harness. It is so easy to put on him and I like how it also clips to his collar for extra support and control. I have never found it to be uncomfortable on my guy either, he never has any sore spots from it rubbing on him. The pictures make it look a bit thin, but the adjustment clips stay in place wonderfully (despite his random jumping/pulling), and keep my 160lb Great Dane safe on all of his walks.

Life Changing
This thing is life changing. I would not be able to walk my strong dog without it. Highly recommend!

Best by Far!
I've tried several other walking tools without success. My dog is an enthusiastic walker. Prefers to go full speed. Does not care in which direction. Also prone to lunging at critters. Not one for sprinting myself (or darting about), I've been trying to reel her in to a reasonable pace.Things that did not work:Nylon choke collar. Non-starter. Without the metal barbs, she really went for it. Would've asphyxiated herself if I let her. Same with the nylon regular collar.Metal, prong, choke collar. This is what her foster recommended. It slowed her down a bit. But she would still pull on it during all types of leash training techniques. She loved it. Neighbors were intimidated by her in it. I found it slightly terrifying. She actually impaled herself in the front of the neck (did not seem to notice though). Still comes running anytime she hears it jingle though.Halti nylon snout harness. This immobilized her completely. As in, take a few steps and lye on the ground and furiously paw it off. Tried the suggestion of giving a nice treat when putting it on. The few times we did get going, people seemed terrified of her (probably assuming it was to keep her from biting). She went on a sad walking strike and management gave in after a day or two.Harness with wide, padded V on the chest and two clips and attachment ring on the shoulders. I originally got this as a car safety harness and didn't notice the front clip. Turned out to be pretty good for discouraging pulling when clipped into the front ring. But the whole chest piece would pull to the side if she got overly enthusiastic. Really hated putting it on and taking it off (small head hole and big ears). Most difficult to keep clean (so much surface area). This is her go-to car harness because of the padding. This harness. Total life saver. Caught my eye when I stumbled on a YouTube review. Just by looking at the design, I could tell this was going to work much better. Even when tightly strapped in, the extremely wide head hole makes her happy to take it on and off (no alluring jingle though). Slack-leash at walking pace with this one. Possible to pull to the side, but only slightly because of the connection to regular collar. Shoulder ring is excellent with the double-sided leash. Only a very small amount of nylon to clean. She's much better on the regular collar only now.My only complaint is the collar clip has rusted pretty significantly after only a couple months (but quite a few trips into the ocean). At the end of the day, I can't believe this was only $7. I would pay a lot more for high-quality hardware.

Like Day and Night
Recently we adopted an eight month old stray from Puerto Rico (Sato.) Straight off the plane he was twirling on the leash, standing up on his hind legs trying to greet every dog he saw, chasing bicycles, skateboarders, street cleaners - anything that moved! His behavior improved during the first month but he was still pulling me down the street like a little devil dog - huffing and choking on his soft collar whenever we went for a walk. I felt something more was needed but I was reluctant to use a choke collar on a 22 pound terrier. In the past I had a terrier who had learned how to back out of his collar and harness so I was particularly attracted to the Halti because of the safety strap that attaches to the collar. I'd also read about another brand that can chafe the pup's skin so I felt the Halti's padding was another plus. I did feel they could've used heavier weight webbing. For example, it's not as thick as the webbing on his 14 inch nylon collar. The first time I used this harness the difference was like day and night. After the first tug or two he realized pulling on the leash wasn't going to work anymore. Suddenly my little Devil Dog was walking like a well mannered gentleman! Adjusting the size, (I bought a Small) took several attempts and I still don't seem to have it exactly how it appears in the photos. It seems to have a tendency to ride up behind his legs.Despite the fact that I only put the harness on the pup before we left for his walk, removed it immediately upon return, and never left him unattended while he was wearing the harness, or allowed him to wear it in the dog run, after about 9 days of use I discovered he'd managed to chew almost all the way through the front strap in two different places! I do like the product and it does exactly what I wanted it to do. Maybe I need to order a couple more.

Works to prevent pulling but not to keep dog at my side. Need more training for that.
I Like this! My rescued Golden pulling girl weighs about 60 lbs with a 29 inch chest. She is trim. Got this in the medium and put it on her today when it arrived--very easy to put on but I placed it on her rather loose. It is adjustable so I can put it tighter. It connects from her chest to her collar with a strap that goes in front of her shoulders to a ring, and there is a small snap on the ring that goes to her collar. The front of the chest is where I connected her regular leash, as this version of the harness did not come with the double sided clips. Where I clip the leash feeds through the ring that snaps to her collar, so if she pulls the least, the chest strap tightens as it is pulled through the ring. She ends up being pulled toward me.I have used the Halti head halter and that worked great but she hated it. She always ended up rubbing her face on the grass trying to get it off after about 20 minutes. Both the Halti Chest harness and the Head Halter work by controlling the front of the dog so when the pull they get pulled toward you. So when she pulled, I wasn't being yanked around. When she went faster, chased after a squirrel or just wanted to go faster, she ended up facing me or facing sideways. Much more of a pleasant walk. Will definitely use. She isn't bothered by the chest harness as she was by the head halter. But both are good for controlling the pulling and making the walk pleasant. Not 5 stars though---she doesn't walk at my side like in the photo. If she did then I would have given it 5 stars.

Good buy
The only harness where I can control the pulling of my dog.. If you attach the lead to the top of back they can pull you but if you want them to have a bit of freedom it's ok.. If you want to be totally in control hook the lead at the front.. Makes a big difference and make the walk more pleasant.

Excellent harness (using the corresponding lead) which delivered amazing results
We recently adopted a greyhound who was very pulley on the lead, and I wasn't keen on pulling him by the throat (or stopping every few seconds), so my partner bought this harness.Without exaggeration - the difference within literally one minute of walking him with this harness and the corresponding loop lead (connected to his collar via the lead and the harness) was absolutely astounding. It was like walking a different dog, honestly.Though greyhounds have a slightly odd body shape due to their large chest, we adjusted the harness to a good fit so that he couldn't slip it off at any point. The benefit of using the loop lead connected to his collar means that you can hold the lead with two hands, directing the dog instead of pulling at their throat, and he moves in the desired direction without any fuss. So little fuss, in fact, that I just loop the lead over my elbow and walk with my hands in my pockets and he now merrily trots along beside us instead of pulling every few seconds.A genuinely incredible transformation, and without breaking the bank, by any means. Walking him now is really lovely, instead of a constant battle! While all dogs are different, I would recommend this if you are having walking trouble with your dog.

Miracle worker
We had to originally return our harness as it was too large for our ~30kg 9 month old Golden Retriever. We ordered a medium one instead and it fits perfectly. We had trained him to walk well on a harness from a small pup but his adolescent stage (now in full swing) has thrown most of his initial training out the window where he just wants to do as he pleases and pulling as hard as he can is one of them!We were trying to figure out what we could do to prevent this, and were recommended an "easy walk" harness which led us to this product. He has been using it now for a few days and so far I can genuinely say I have only had to ask him not to pull once after running into a neighbour whom he loves. The first walk was a bit strange for him as he couldn't work out what this strange contraption was that he was wearing and he wasn't used to having his lead at the front (and he has a habit of changing sides that he walks so kept getting caught up) but he's getting the hang of it now and it truly is a god send. I don't quite know how it works or what stops him from pulling but most of the time we are walking loose-leash and it's fantastic!I'd really recommend this to anyone with big boisterous dogs like my pup whose excitement gets the better of them - so much so that they start taking you for a walk instead! It has been great and so far so good. If anything changes I will report back.
