Loved this super great guide to Iceland!
This is a GREAT guide to Iceland. As someone who is planning on going there, I was looking for a comprehensive guide to help plan my trip. One, the pictures are wonderful to help see what is being described instead of having to go look it up online. Two, the guide is very detailed all the way down to how much time it'll take to drive, how much rooms at different hotels cost and where to see the puffins (which is obviously the most important part!)

Great Guide for an Unforgettabel Trip!
This guide made planning my trip to Iceland to much easier! It’s packed with great tips that I found helpful and saved me money. There is also lot’s of tips so you don’t get caught in common tourist traps, especially at the airport. It included a lot of spots that most inexperienced Iceland travelers miss, and because of this, I was able to see some great lesser-known places. There are seasonal itineraries I thought was helpful as I was clearly able to see what places I see during my visit in July. I also gives great advice on how to see the famous Northern Lights and how to hike glaziers, which I had always wanted to do. The packing tips were spot on and I was grateful that I packed the appropriate clothes for Iceland’s unpredictable weather. There not a whole lot of pictures but the few that are includes help me to get a better visual on what to expect. Whether it’s your first trip or you’re returning, this book will help you get the most out of your adventure. I highly recommended it!

Iceland travel guide 2024: Perfect for planning my next adventure
I’ve been dreaming of my next big international vacation, and after flipping through Iceland Travel Guide 2024 by Vera Storme, I’m more convinced than ever that Iceland is the perfect destination. The way Storme describes the natural beauty, from thundering waterfalls to volcanic black sand beaches, has me picturing myself standing in awe. She makes everything feel so accessible, with practical tips on transportation, where to stay, and even hidden gems most tourists miss. What I love most is how she captures the balance between Iceland’s rich Viking history and its modern, eco-friendly approach. It's not just a list of sights; it feels like an invitation to experience something magical. I'm also drawn to the focus on sustainability, which really aligns with my desire to travel responsibly. The guidebook offers helpful itineraries, like a day in Reykjavik or a classic Golden Circle trip, which will make planning easier. While there’s a ton of detail, I can see how it might be a bit overwhelming, but I’d rather have too much information than not enough. After reading it, I can practically hear the roar of Gullfoss and feel the chill of the glaciers beneath my feet. This book has me ready to pack my bags and explore Iceland's raw, untouched beauty.
