Guardian Angel Tarot Cards: A 78-Card Deck and Guidebook

Oh, how I love this deck. I watched some very positive reviews of it on youtube, yet I avoided purchasing it because it looked too pink and saccharine for my tastes. However, it grew on me, and kept beckoning to me, and so I followed my inner guidance and ordered it. I am so happy I did. While it IS a very positive, sweet deck, it nevertheless really does convey the traditional meanings of the cards, albeit in a gentle way. Sometimes that's needed. My daughter, for example, wanted a tarot reading but even the gentlest of my other decks (for example, the Anna K deck or the Oceanic deck) inevitably had at least one or more images that she found either scary or too mature. Adults sometimes have need of a gentler deck as well. We want the truth, we want our blind spots revealed to us so we can work on them, but we might not be in an emotional place where we can "take" a confrontational reading. I know this is true of me at times and sometimes I've avoided doing a reading for myself as a result; I was not emotionally strong enough to face whatever might come up. With the Guardian Angel Tarot, I find the information comes through quite clearly, but in a very gentle way, giving as positive a spin as possible. And isn't that the purpose of Tarot-- to help us transform our lives in a positive direction? If occasionally the message on the card seems superficial at first glance, I find meditating on the card or cards I have chosen reveals increasingly deeper meanings. The little guidebook adds additional insights to the cards as well. Yes, there are messages printed right on the cards. And they do contain the core of the traditional meanings. At first I wasn't sure I liked the messages being on there, but I no longer find them limiting, more like springboards for my own insights, or conversations with a client. Because of the messages, I find it difficult to do readings with more than a few cards with this deck, but my style has been evolving that way lately anyway and I rarely do complicated, multi-card spreads. The major arcana are numbered, so while they have different names, you can easily correlate them with the traditional names. The suits and court cards are renamed as well, but again, it's fairly easily to "translate" them into the traditional names. The artwork is just beautiful. And the cards are printed on impressively thick card stock with gold edges. They are a bit large. I love the box! So many boxes that Tarot cards come in are just a waste and have to be jettisoned, whereas this box is sturdy and elegant enough to use as permanent storage for the cards. I love the bit of glitter on the box. You can just sense that this deck was made with love. It's like the gentle voice of your best friend, mother, grandmother, or other wise guide. Great deck!

I love the Guardian Angel tarot cards. They are easy to read, gentle, and absolutely beautiful. I think they are great for a beginner of card reading. Personally, I connected with them real well. They aren't conventional tarot cards but have a style of their own, in that, all the meanings are gentle and uplifting. I have been reading cards for years. When I give readings, I have various decks to choose from according to my intuition, the kind of reading and what the client is requesting. I do use regular tarot cards, for example rider waite tarot cards and sometimes use more than one deck or just choose a different type of cards. I have a number of Doreen Virtues cards, I just happen to be attracted to these particular cards and I think this will be one of my favorite decks. I can just look at the pictures and pick up on the angel energy of these cards and intuitively read. Regular tarot cards are not scary. The ones that may look frightening usually are a wake up call or telling you about an obstacle you need to overcome. It's all a matter of what you are intuitively drawn to and your choice.

Very beautiful cards, love the pictures and the good quality of the cards, stock is sturdy, well pack in a pretty box and a companion book. I am a Professional Tarot Reader 35+ years in the trade, I like the cards because I find them very useful for some sensitive Clients that do not like swords, death, tower, devil and some other "strong cards", most of the times this cards are not as dramatic as "people may think" but it help some clients feel better and that is Ok, but I use them as any 78 Tarot format, if is something the client needs to know I will tell them like a "warning word", just I pick my words very carefully. The fact than the author keeps the format of the Rider W. Deck was the selling point for me because the cards are beautiful and sensitive yet truth to the original Tarot. It may be a little difficult these cards for a Tarot beginner that intends to get in the real World of the Trade as are many things that you need to know if you want to be a Pro. like the meanings of numbers, colors, direction of faces, correlations with astrology signs as well as the skin color of the Court Cards that just the Rider and Marseille can give you, in the other hand you can start with these and expand your knowledge in future with the Rider.

What's to say besides I'm in love...with a deck of cards? Lol. These are stunning; my first deck I've ventured out to since initially implementing Tarot (RWS) into my business. I felt so drawn to these, and I feel they are definitely something special. The soft, vintage imagery is gorgeously Victorian and helps to envoke a dreamy, sweet and positive energy during reading. I also love how it takes on an oracle-esque approach by using more abstract suits names and other unique identifiers for the courts and Majors. Best of all, having a small bit of insight on each card is just perfect for adding depth to messages and overall interpretation. I find that I personally always refer back to the traditional Tarot counterparts for reference, and then also consider the actual meanings implied by the creators of this deck. I had the reprint of this deck post Doreen virtue's leaving the New Age movement but gifted it to a friend and that it immediately went out of print so I'm so happy I found it for a reasonable price and the seller did a phenomenal job with making sure that it arrived me safely and even arrived early highly recommend going through this vendor for anyone that wants out of print stock

Some people freak out wit tarot. So I start out with this deck. Calm, gentle and amazing

I have been collecting tarot and oracle cards for twenty years. I literally have over 50 decks in my collection. This Angel Tarot Deck is one of the few decks that I regularly use. The energy is incredible and very positive. I like the information on each card. The deck was also released around my birthday. LOL. The only complaint I have is that the deck card stock/quality is poor. My cards arrived warped/curved. I had to go through each card and try to straighten them so that I could shuffle them properly. I hope the author/company releases new cards with better quality paper or stock. I would purchase it again. Otherwise, I love the cards.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this deck. I have purchased several tarot decks before but never used them. They did not give any explanations so when a card was drawn I could not interpret it. Also, The others seems so ugly and scary. If you have always wanted to have a tarot deck that is easy and positive THIS IS THE ONE. Now, given that... I am person with a massive amount of stress and negativity in my life.I don't need to re-hash all the crap going on in my life. I want positive, healthy inspiration. Something that will motivate me to make changes and not keep blaming myself or let others walk all over me. Other decks have not provided me any direction or motivate me to make changes or "think: about it the rest of the day. The deck is gorgeous. Each card is a lot thicker cardstock than any other ones I have. Other cards are the thickness like an actual playing card deck. This deck reminds me of the thickness of the little cardboard book you would buy a toddler when they are little so they don't rip the pages. The pictures are gorgeous. And the sides of the cards are gold covered.

A more gentle tarot, toning down some of the harsh traditional images of some cards, while still conveying the right message. Many images have a modern take on people in today's world, which can make these more relatable and easier to read and would be great for a beginner or any reader that enjoys this style of art and spiritual messages of a more sensitive touch. The keywords are on point. A positive deck with beautiful, bright and clear art work, with images and fonts that are clear and easy to read. No need to put the glasses on to try to pick up tiny details! I've only had this deck for a few days but from what I've seen so far, the meanings in the booklet seem supportive and inspirational, with a description of each card, angel messages for each card, as well as additional meanings. If you enjoy Angel style decks, this is perfect. Beautiful.

I bought a load of angel cards off another popular site as they where cheaper then the same ones on here. but what I recieved from the other site was rubbish. so I decided to buy from here and the difference is amazing!!! on here a nicer hard box. a guide book and larger better detailed cards. I have included a pic of the cards from both sites. the one on the left is from amazon...the other one, on the right...cheap paper, faded colours, much smaller, box is also very thin cardboard and NO guidebook included...that has to be downloaded and if you want to print it...it's over 200 pages !!! even though it says guidebook on the box. the one on here is beautiful and you have everything you need in a beautiful strong box

Since I got this cards, I've been using them more like an oracle than a tarot deck, for advise and support with other decks or alone in small spreads (3-4 cards). It's a comforting and powerful deck once you get used to it. The explanations that the guidebook offers are interesting because they offer extra meanings on each card which aren't the traditional ones. The cards are quite thick and not very flexible, so the deck is a little difficult to shuffle. I wouldn't say the cards' quality is the best neither. Despite it all, I think this deck is a must-have for healing, in spiritual and emotional spreads, specially if you like the victorian-vintage look they have.
