LOKLIK iCraft Die Cutting Machines – Vinyl Cutter Machine for Precision Crafting, Cuts 100+ Materials Including Paper, Vinyl & Leather up to 2mm Thickness - Craft Tool for Graphic Design Application

Note: I had a problem where (although the machine worked) I could not update the firmware with my AMD based PC or the Loklik phone app. This is a known problem. I resolved this by using an older PC with an Intel processor. Once the firmware has been updated to V06 apparently the app will be able to perform the update but I haven't checked because V06 is the latest firmware as I write this. My use case is not decorative stickers, more for precise detailed cutting work on car PPF/Mylar and similar. My photo is of a thick PPF cut. This machine has been far better than I expected it to be and very accurate indeed, it cuts a very fine line in the material you are using and repeat cuts will go in the exact same line. The included standard cutter has no problem at all cutting through .25mm PPF (in the pic) and heavier duty cutters are available. Cutting a small item, say 300x100mm in one pass is very fast process. The Loklik software is designed for people to have a simple design platform to make 2D objects, stickers etc.. It is a little more awkward to work with for my uses. However, you can import shapes made by other applications as long as they are in SVG format. There are online converters like Convertio that can convert various formats to SVGs and you can use free programs like Inkscape which can work directly with the SVG format. Once the file is in Loklik Studio you can precisely set the print dimensions to match your requirement. Overall, very highly recommended, the machine is solid and does the job really well.

I was hesitant to order this machine as I had read several negative reviews but I am so happy with it. The set up and software is easy to follow. The mats are extremely sticky, so make sure if you are using paper or card that you press onto a jumper or similar to dull the glue surface and avoid tearing finished creation when removing from the mat. It comes with tools vinyl and pen so you can create straight out of the box. I am really impressed and would say that I like it just as much as my other make of cutting machine.

Machine worked great for a couple months. Then started to lose functionality. Cuts became unpredictable, some where ruined completely despite blade changed. Then print and could went out of line. Calibration became impossible

Impressed with how easy this machine is to set up and use, even compared to my old Silhouette Cameo 4. Feels compact but still handles big projects, and it looks modern on my desk. Tried it out on vinyl, card, and even some thin leather, the cuts are clean and precise every time. Comes with included mats and tools so I could get started straight away without hunting for extras. I really like the idea of built-in storage cup for small tools, keeps everything tidy and close to hand. The control buttons are simple and responsive, and the top lid lifts up smoothly for loading materials. Didn’t need a cutting mat for some jobs, which saves time and hassle. Comes with the hook weeder and pen which are handy for weeding and drawing, and the sample vinyl is good for testing. Fantastic set to get you started. Noise level is much lower than my Cameo 4, so I can work late without disturbing anyone. Software is easy to use, and it has library with loads of graphics and fonts to play with. Tried a few different materials and it handled them all. The machine feels sturdy and well built, nothing flimsy about it. USB port and power port are easy to access, and the front tray catches offcuts neatly. It's actually really good if you are a beginner or even more experienced. Good results. Neatly packed Clear set up instructions provided in written format within the box for full set up Simple and quick software set up. Verification code for new accounts may be sent to your junk email, but are efficiently provided. Device is smart, clean and compact with well lengthed cables Attachable side accessory holder is very useful for storing additional accessories in one place. Once set up - I recommend watching all of the videos on the software app before using - things like “mirror image” and other simple details for newbies, aren’t clearly specified before printing on the instruction manual. The patterns and designs in the software are very generic and simple however there is an AI design function (limited to 20 designs) that is fun to play with. This is obtained via a “pro account” which, appears to be free for newbies but is listed as “$30 off” which is somewhat confusing. There is an ability to upload designs, but I cannot see any functions that allow you to design your own images within the app. Clear and simple views of layers for cutting - allowing you to select what you’d like cut and when. along with multiple material selections. Once in use, the cutting itself is quick and quiet, you will need space in front and behind the device to allow it to move as it cuts the vinyl. There are also a range of “SVG” files to pick from. Picking tools are provided once the design is cut, to remove unwanted vinyl pieces from the cutting, this is however very fiddly. It’s simple, quiet and usable - but I feel like it has limited functions due to its size and design features.

Soy principiante en esto y la compra de esta máquina fue perfecta para mi, es fácil de usar tanto la aplicación como la cortadora, me encantó la compra, a la primera me salió mi proyecto sin desperdiciar material.

Hasta el momento me he sorprendido con lo funcional que es loklik, he cortado papel picado en cartulina, he hecho letreros en vinil y al momento todo va muy bien; su programa es muy fácil de utilizar, yo uso mi celular para hacer mis diseños y se me ha hecho muy práctico.

La maquina cumple con lo requerido, es silenciosa y rápida , me gusta mucho

I like this machine, it works very well and it's very accurate in cutting and drawing. Easy to use, and has an excellent app and good Bluetooth connectivity is fast from the phone or the pc. Money value is great. The only 2 reasons for not giving 5 stars is: 1- Arabic language is not supported, which is an important thing for me, and deep point blade cutting is not available now since I got this machine, so I'm not able to cut hard materials and many projects are pending. The only option is to buy it from their European website, which made the blade price double if I choose shipping to the US.

This machine is just as good as the Cricut for a much better price. I have been using it for a few months now and am extremely happy with the results. It comes with a few tools and the app is pretty easy to navigate and you can use many of the features without having to pay for a subscription. (Although, I am sure the subscription version probably has more bells and whistles, but it works well with my AI program, so the extra cost is unnecessary for me). Totally recommend!
