Audel Pipefitter's and Welder's Pocket Manual All New 2nd Edition

Easy to use for new people to the trade

Covers just about everything a Millwright would need and then some. Great book. Audel is the best when it comes to Trades reference manuals.

Lots of info and examples in a condensed easy-to-read format. Maybe I am overlooking something, but there seems to be errors or things missing. For example, Fig. 2-8 says G = F x 1.414, but there is no G to be found in the figure. Might be just incomplete data is provided on purpose, but my mind tells me errors may exist.

For me this was a walk down memory lane, having started my working career as an apprentice Pipefitter. The author is a long time member of the United Association and has some great advice for those of you looking for a fulfilling career that does not require a college degree. In fact, there are many college grads (including engineers) who have decided on a career in the building trades. The book details some of the more technical aspects of pipefitting as well as some general STEM information.

Very good book. It has a lot of information the blue book doesn't have. It is a good book to have. Every one that thumbs through it wants to know where I got it.

This was a gift to my nephew who is a welder,I looked the book over it covers a lot of things that hands on won't get maybe this jump start his career

It’s a good general knowledge book, it could use more on stick and tig welding of pipe as they are more common than during the publication time.
