This stuff reallyworks
I had deep cleaning on all four quads and was seeing my dental hygienist (DH) every three months in 2016. I've always taken great care of my teeth and rarely eat sweets. I visited my DH twice a year until I was diagnosed with gum disease. It was quite embarrassing because I felt that I was doing a horrible job (felt dirty) every time my DH asked my routine. She spent a solid hour chipping and picking away the plague and the pain was excruciating. I used this product for 12 days before my next cleaning. My DH asked my routine and I told her "same as usual". As she charted my teeth and gum, she said my gums looked a lot better and told me to continue doing what I have been doing. She recommended that I visit her every 4 months instead of three. I have been using this product for a month at the time of this review and I am convinced my DH will tell me to come back every six months the next time I see her. I no longer bleed when I brush or get the nasty taste on my mouth in the mornings. This stuff is awesome! I got two big bags and got my family on it. The seller ships the item the same or next day. The only cons are it stains the teeth & night guard and not great tasting. I use bleach to return the night guard to its original color and use a whitening tooth paste to brush my teeth. It is well worth the mess. I have tried oil pulling, oregano oil and frankincense and had no success until I came across this product. I first heard about it on Youtube and am so happy Amazon carries it.

Nice white oak bark, good for the natural person
Seems to be ok, waiting to see if it works for what I am using it for so will do an update, but it is a very fine powder and makes a nice paste. It has helped with gum pain. I am adding it to my oil pulling routine and natural toothpaste to increase the use on the gums. It does leave a brownish mess in your mouth so you do have to use a natural whitener to combat this like hydrogen peroxide or activated charcoal powder. Past is best to be made as needed otherwise it does mold as I have found out. It is well packaged initially but upon opening I transferred to a dark lidded container for easy of use and keeping closed better. Looking forward to positive results.here are some ideas for other uses as I found during searching so these are not my own recommendations, I just found them helpful and appreciate these kinds of reports when I am looking for reviews:The astringent action of white oak is due to the high levels of tannins found in the bark. An astringent works by shrinking or constricting the tissues of the body, both internally and externally. This is good for treating internal bleeding and diarrhea as well as external bleeding, hemorrhoids, varicose veins and other skin conditions such as burns, abrasions and eczema. Anti-inflammatory properties of this herbal supplement are related to its actions as an astringent and an antiseptic. As an antiseptic, white oak can control infections inside and outside the body due again to the action of the tannins. These bind with proteins in the tissues of the body and thus keep out harmful bacteria. Bladder infections, venereal diseases, vaginal infections and dysentery have been known to improve with the use of white oak in the form of a tincture or tea, as well as in capsules of the powdered bark. On the surface of the body, skin infections may be helped by adding the bark to bath water or by applying an infusion or extract to the problem area. Some other beneficial qualities of white oak include its action as a diuretic, which can improve bladder health and help get rid of kidney stones and gallstones. There has also been found to be an anthelmintic quality to this herb. This makes it effective against parasitic worms such as pinworms which can invade the intestinal tract. In the treatment of upper respiratory infections, due to the saponins it contains, it can act as an expectorant to help get rid of phlegm and mucous.Daily DosageWhen taken internally, the recommended daily dosage of the powdered bark in capsules is approximately one gram, and preferably it should be taken with food. In the form of extracts, the dosage varies with the strength of the product, but typically is in the range of 30-60 drops diluted in water and taken 2-3 times daily. Applied topically or externally, it may be used as needed.

I use this at night. Mix it with my Sensodyne tooth paste and food grade diatamaceous earth
I use this at night. Mix it with my Sensodyne tooth paste and food grade Diatomaceous earth. It definitely helps. I pack on back gum, both sides. It's been a constant irritant that I usually use Glyoxide on, which helped but hoping for more long term relief. Food grade diatomaceous earth whitens teeth. So far so good.

A Gum Surgeon's Worst Nightmare!
Save your gums and teeth with this stuff. I am rather obsessive about my teeth, and health in general. I had an infection in the gum around one molar- I just packed this into the cavity between my tooth and gums nightly for a few weeks, and the pain went away entirely!
