GrodanRockwool Cubes (2 X 2 X 1.5 Inches) 50 Per Sheet

These work well for my purpose and that is to germinate the seeds prior to placing into a hydroponic set up under a light. The hydroponic model uses clay like pebbles about 3/8" in diameter and the cubes rest well in the pebbles allowing the roots to grow down into the water and nutrients. The cubes are a perfect medium to promote root growth and I have used them before with success and am ordering again. I use these in conjunction with a plastic starter tray that has a cover to contain the moisture. Once the seeds sprout roots, they are taken from the tray and placed into my hydro-p pots and begin their journey from modest seed to full-on basil in my world famous Thai beef with basil.

i did NOT receive this product for any discount, nor did i get it for free. my honest review is that of my own.We've had these for almost a year now. They work nicely for our hydroponics system. My only drawback is that it's sort of hard to get the material off the roots. But I don't think it's the fault of the product, it's just how it is since the roots grow into the product material. But we are very happy with this product still almost a year later.Overall, it's a good quality product. I do recommend this product

I typically use the 2x2x2 but decided to give these a try instead. I was happy with them and feel they worked well. Since I like to have a little more rockwool to push my clone into I'll go back to the 2x2x2 inch next order but like I said these work fine too.

I love using rockwool for rooting cuttings of all kinds of plants. It's clean and easy to use. You can be assured that you aren't introducing fungus or bugs into your rooting chamber when you use rockwool, the same can't always be said about soil. Rockwool doesn't spill and make a mess like small containers of soil will. This size is almost perfect, it's wide enough so that they don't tip over. It is easy to handle each plant individually, and it's just easy and convenient to use.

Buyer beware. The pictures displayed show the tapered A-OK version of the cubes that fit smaller tapered containers. These are large rectangular versions that fit in larger non-segmented trays.

Very disappointed with the result of this product...I would like to return it and get a refund from this order

I really like these for my Tower Garden, I think they are better than what they originally give you. These fit really snug in the aeroponic tower and the plants have good support. I do make the holes bigger depending on the type of seeds I put in.
