The bristles are extremely dense, and I do mean extremely. They are still soft. They are contoured as well.The only reason for a four stars is the price. You came by comparable brushes for much cheaper.

I prefer the larger mitt for larger body parts. This is more ideal and useful for smaller delicate parts like wrists, hands, elbows, and around knees. I like using around neck and ears as well. Helps spread coloring not just smearing.

Loving the size and how soft the bristles are! This brush is soft and dense, making it great for applying body bronzer and self-tanner without any streaks. The bristles feel gentle and blends evenly. The handle is comfortable to hold, though it could be a little sturdier. It cleans up easily with mild soap and water, but shedding happens occasionally.

I have long since learned that when putting on tanning lotion, or body foundation, you need to have a body brush for sure. This way you’re not ending up with tanning lotion in between your fingers and under your nails. It is basically all over the place except where you need it, which is on your legs, arms, stomach, and back.What I like so much about this particular body brush is how it feels when it’s going up and down my body. It feels so soft almost like I’m rubbing a piece of very soft fur across my skin. And this body brush allows me to have the tanning lotion go on my skin streak free because I can feel where I’m brushing the lotion on and can move to the next spot without having any streaks.When there are five fingers and a palm involved, it spreads the lotion on me unevenly. This does not help my purpose for wearing tanning lotion nor does it help waiting three or four days for the suntan lotion to not be on my hands any longer. It seriously takes that long for the tanning lotion to leave my hands and by then the tanning lotion on my body is starting to fade away. Using gloves on my hands prevents the staining on my hands but it still causes streaking on my skin.The kabuki brush is fantastic for self-tanners because it doesn’t absorb the extra lotion. Therefore allowing all of the tanning lotion to stay on my skin and I receive the results that I am wanting. I can even use this kabuki brush to contour some of the lotion on spots where I would like to appear thinner, or more muscular. This is an art that I haven’t mastered yet but intend to keep trying. I have started on my legs with my calf muscles and contouring them to appear larger.All together, this suntan lotion brush is making my skin appear more natural and therefore I think that I look more healthy. A little color is all I need to help my pasty white skin look better. I love this brush. It really does make a huge difference in how well my suntan lotion goes on.
