it is part of seat cover. the seat itself is flat.

The lid is not as sturdy or solid as the seat itself. You can sit on it but it has some give. I would think you could switch the seat lid.

Does it connect directly to water supply for toilets with no tanks.

It connects to the normal toilet supply line. I'm not sure about tankless toilets.

Does this work as a normal bidet without power? I will install an outlet in the future
