Excellent value, adaptability, ease of use, battery life is superb!
These OTC hearing aids provide an incredible value for the cost. I really enjoy using them everyday, and I can't imagine going back to not using them. This is my second set of OTC hearing aids, and the first time I've spent this kind of money out of pocket. The value they provide is very high for what they are. These are actual hearing aids, not just sound amplifiers. The settings are very adjustable for individual needs, like changing the sound input from 360° to front facing only, which is very handy and crowded places like restaurants so you don't have to listen to the people behind you at another table talking. The noise suppression algorithm does work very well what's your brain gets used to this particular systems operation. I like the ability of the app to control different aspects of the hearing aids, like setting up generalized settings for different places like home, office, outside, crowded places etc. The battery life on these units usually lasts me all day from around 7:00 in the morning until 10:00 at night before I start getting battery low notifications. Throughout the day, I routinely stream music for 3 hours on average. I also take approximately 30 minutes to an hour of phone calls everyday. These hearing aids do have the ability to allow sound to come through while you're using the bluetooth, or to turn the ambient sound off and listen to Bluetooth only. Pairing with the phone is very easy. The study guides and user instructions are very clear and allow you to learn to use your hearing aids over time. If you're a more seasoned user of OTC hearing aids, it can be a little annoying on the instruction side of things, but I understand why they do it the way they do. This unit does not have specific frequency adjustment for individual users, but it does have a hearing test that I assume does change the profile based on the test results. But there's no way to manually adjust any specific frequency that I have found. These hearing aids are very clear, and the ability to discern voice from ambient noise is very good for the cost of these units. using the appropriate ear domes and ear dome design is of great importance. You may have to play around with dome size or open versus closed domes in order to get the best results for you. I wasn't a big fan of receiver in ear before, but I am now. I don't ever really want to go back to air tubes. These units are a hair wider than the previous brand I used, but I also wear prescription eyeglasses daily and they fit comfortably. I do wish that the stems had the little leg that goes out and keeps it more firmly planted in your ear, but that's a minor issue for me. They are very lightweight and compact and I find them to be very comfortable and I usually forget that I'm wearing them until bedtime. I don't really have any other issues with these because they are so adaptable and I really enjoy being able to stream audio and phone through them reliably and consistently. The Bluetooth range is approximately 30 ft and walk away and still be able to stream to the hearing aids. The charger case allows for at least three full charges before it needs a charge itself. The provided ear domes are also a good fit for this device, and you can always use aftermarket ear domes if necessary. I really like these hearing aids, and if I can catch them on sale, I'll probably buy another set in the future as a spare to keep in the car.

Nice value. Easy bluetooth hookup. quick recharge. Good features. I like mine. Yes.
Good hearing aids for the money. Nice features. Great Bluetooth connection. No glitches !! I had Beltone , but lost one. I couldn't afford to get another Beltone replacement , so I tried these. Ellehear has a great product. The case is easy to use for recharging and travel. It will recharge the aids even if not plugged in. Nice !! These have a long battery life, for everyday use. And recharges quickly. Easy to recharge with the USB cable. They came well packaged and with all needed parts and different sized earbuds. I have not needed repairs on these. They work every day. ps : customer service will never pick up the phone. Customer service will not never respond to phone messages. Email is the only way to get in touch with them. Good hearing aids , all in all. Im satisfied.

Sound quality and good volume
I have had hearing aids for 15 years. The ones I have used are prescription hearing aids that were good. I also tried OTC hearing aids. These hearing aids are superior to any OTC hearing aids I have tried. They are clear, work very well with phone calls and listening to music. I do get chirping out of the right ear when I go above a 12 setting on volume. The left ear does not do this. Otherwise I would recommend these as a good replacement for expensive $ 3-6K hearing aids. They work well.

Good hearing units! Please read my review.
The Elehear Beyond units are definitely worth a try. My previous hearing amplifiers were the Elehear Alpha models. The Alphas helped me hear just a hair better than I could without them, but they were a long way from good or even adequate. I wore them for nine months. The Beyond model is vastly superior to the Alpha. Today is my fifth day wearing them and am quite happy with their performance. The Beyond has much more power than the Alpha, allowing a near unlimited range of volume control. If you need a higher level of amplification as I do, the Beyond will probably suit your needs. The Alpha model has four listening modes, or scenes, suitable for different listening environments, but I really couldn't distinguish one from the other. The Beyond has, I believe, eight different hearing modes, but I haven't yet explored/tested them. I've had mine set to "general" mode since I received them. The Beyond app doesn't provide the ability to program the ear set, but does provide one very critical feature, a tone control. If you've ever spoken to someone cellphone to cellphone while the other party was running water in a sink or handling papers, you know how brittle and harsh digital sounds can be, brittle, sharp and very annoying. The tone control allowed me to move the control four bars below zero toward the bass side to reduce the harshness of such sounds. The Beyond won't restore your hearing to normal, but they do a darn good job of improving my hearing. I believe Elehear and other makers of hearing amplifiers and OTC hearing aids will continue researching and provide improved products in the months and years to come. In a year or two I think we will all be able to buy reasonably high quality hearing devices in the $5-$800 range. In the meantime I encourage you to try the Beyond.

A Basic Amplifier
This is a basic amplifier - not a true hearing aid. The sound quality is very “tinny” and “staticy” . When you turn the volume up (to be able to actually hear anything) it just amplifies everything to the point that I couldn’t even eat because the chewing noise in my head was so loud ! And the adjustments basically do nothing except make EVERYTHING louder - like hair brushing against the hearing aid behind my ear caused a constant whoosh whoosh noise. Also the size of these hearing aids (the part that goes behind your ear) is about twice the size of a professional level hearing aid and feels very uncomfortable to wear. My husband wears medical level hearing aids - which cost about 10x as much as these and are about 1/3 the size, but the difference with a true hearing aid is worth the money. Wearing these hearing aids was uncomfortable and the sound quality was extremely poor. They got sent back.

Look No Further, These Are the Ones!
I absolutely love these! I have moderate hearing loss and know I was missing out of a lot of conversations. I purchased these while on vacation and was able to experience them in many different scenarios: indoor and outdoor graduations, several restaurants, a pool party with fifty teens and loud music (they adjusted themselves! AI maybe?) and a very windy farmer's market. These are not amplifiers. I previously had Nano hearing aids which turned out to be amplifiers, awful. With the Elehear Beyond, I can have a conversation and faintly hear birds in the background, just like normal hearing. With the Nano's the conversation and the birds would be at the same level, there was feedback and wind noise, not normal. There is no feedback or wind noise with the Beyond. The app is simple to use and comes with four preset settings and allows you to add four of your own custom settings. The bluetooth connectivity has a range of approximately forty feet. I was also able to connect them to my laptop (although it took awhile to download BlueStacks first). Phone conversations are crystal clear. In some environments, I prefer not to use the bluetooth and they work well just on their own and saves battery life both on the hearing aids and the cellphone. Even though I also wear glasses, these are so comfortable I have to keep checking to make sure they are still there. These perform just like natural hearing. I cannot imagine $5K hearing aids performing any better.

Not hearing product for us, returned
Left ear piece did not charge before the initial wearing! Concerned from the beginning this would be a continued issue! The left ear piece continued with intermittent failure to charge. Placed in charger overnight and was not charged for the appointment time with the audiologist who did not call at all?? My husband had not worn previous hearing aides but found the aides comfortable to wear. Charging case seemed sturdy and lightweight. Sound echoed and we worked with customer support who recommended changing ear domes which gave minimal improvement after taking hearing test and following recommendations from the report for settings. Clarity and echoing continued to be an issue! Customer service answered calls but continued to refer to user manual which had already been reviewed including all instructions from the ELEHEAR website. All recommendations made by email mostly referring to the user manual and trouble shooting guide. In person support was not offered except for appointment with the audiologist who did not call. Support agreed to send return label for replacement but sent additional recommendations and requests instead of the return label. Tried our best with poor outcome will not purchase again and will consider alternate product. Returned to Amazon as a defective product within the return window. Frustrating experience overall!

Excellent First Impression
Update after using for several days. Charge only lasts for about 12 - 13 hours. They do recharge quickly however. I get up at 7am and these only last till 8pm, unless I give them a quick charge somewhere during the day. I still love them though. I have 3 prescription pairs I have collected over the years with one pair only 4 years old but the Elehears are the best The VA currently supplies me with a pair of hearing aids but mine are about 4 years old now and left had a issue with a receiver wire. They both were sent off for a rebuild, and I had long donated my older pair to the church. One day without hearings aids was enough to convince me to order a inexpensive pair to have a backup set. They arrived early this morning and after topping off the charge I have been wearing them. My first impression is that these are the best hearing aids I have ever worn. My wife is a soft speaker bt nature and with these I can hear her more clearly than I have in years. The TV can again be played at a normal volume, I am sure the neighbors appreciate that aspect I like the ap, it is easy to use and intuitive, a very good design in my opinion. I am looking forward to experimenting and adjusting for different environments . Restaurants have been such a challenge that my wife and I have almost stopped going and movies were even worst and that will be the crucial test I think. I will do a update in a month or so after I have tested them a bit more but so far they are better than any of the prescription pairs that I have worn
