Useful!
This is exactly what I was looking for for my MacBook Pro. I'm an amateur photographer and I used to use the SD card slot in my old laptop to transfer files, but after getting a new computer, it's been difficult to transfer photos without losing some of the photo quality. The SD slot in this hub has been a lifesaver in terms of that. The other slots are useful as well. One downside is that it tends to heat up after being used for a while, but other than that there are no problems.

Works Like a charm + great customer service
My first one was great except the HDMI port did not work.Customer support was fantastic, the replacement is perfect all ports work and they can all be used at the same time. I love the fact that its the only dongle I need, It looks great and is easy to carry around in the outside pocket of my laptop sleeve.

Works Very Well - USB Ports Questionable? - Longer Cable?
Generally works very well, aside from having to reconnect some USB peripherals after a little while. Not sure whether that is the occasional peripheral or this adapter hub - haven't figured that out yet, but seem to have read about something like it in other reviews (hence my four stars rating). The ethernet connection is recognized all the time and transmits data super fast between computers and external storage. The charging of the computer and peripherals is uninterrupted and adequately fast. A peripheral HDMI screen (e.g., TV) is recognized instantly. The reading and writing of an SD card is fast and flawless (have no experience with the micro-SD yet). The device becomes indeed slightly warm, but nothing to be concerned about (kept is connected for many nights without any issue, discolorations or other signs of heat wear) and always remains comfortable to the touch (a great handwarmer in winter?). The blue light remains on when connected to the charger, but not being connected to a computer. One suggestion to the manufacturer; the cable - which is of a really nice stiff consistency to avoid damage from use - may be triple to quadruple in length from current so it can be tucked around the laptop for chargers that are on the opposite side when the laptop has only one single side to plug the hub in to. Otherwise a really great adapter hub.

Be wary, some ports may not work. Test all before you can't send it back.
Looked to be a competent product. I figured the silvery finish would start to chip off. Yesterday, I decided to finally use the full size SD card slot. Didn't work. Pretty crappy to have one of the seven ports not work. Bummer but still Ok for the price.

All ports work as advertised. Works with Huawei matebook D
Update:After some testing with a USB 3.0 external hard drive I have determined that the USB ports are only working at USB 2.0 speeds. My laptops USB 3.0 ports get speeds of ~120 MB/s read and this hub only gets ~40 MB/s read. This USB-C hub works pretty good overall for the price. I use it on a Huawei matebook D signature edition (from Walmart). I bought it mainly for the Ethernet port, which works at full gigabit speed. The HDMI works well at 1080p. I haven't tried higher resolution, but that will be dependent on the graphics card in the computer and the USB-C spec in the computer. The main problems I have had is that the Ethernet port was not recognized at first and sometimes the external monitor doesn't wake up when computer comes back from stand by. The remedy for both has been unplugging the power cable and plugging it back in. The devices will be immediately recognized upon unplugging the power cable. The devices does get pretty hot though. Sometimes it isn't hot, but I have found no correlation to when it gets hot and when it doesn't. It seems pretty random. I don't like keeping my thumb drive plugged in constantly because of the heat. Overall it works fine and the heat hasn't caused any issues so far.

Burned out my Power Supply on first use
I bought this for the attached Ethernet port. First time I used it to back up my MacBook to a portable HD (only 1 USC-C port), it burned out the MacBook 30W power supply that I was using to power it! I have a backup PS, but that is $32 lost!

Good price for this all in one hub
Everything works as expected. Connect HDMI, USB and SD cards on this hub. It's size makes it easy to store in your laptop bag. A very useful item for a good price.
