Looks great but kinda concerning issues with wire colors and excess heat.
I love the look of this product and so far it’s working out great after I installed it. I was really confused at first when trying to install because the wire colors are not the same as what we have in the United States. I believe they are the European standard colors. After about an hour of searching YouTube how to videos I was able to figure it out. My house has white and black wires with a green ground wire. There is no ground wire on this product. That freaked me out. No green ground wire!!! This product has a blue wire and a brown wire. 😯After seeking advice from my brother-in-law I decided to connect the ground wire to part of the light bracket as an alternative to connecting wire to wire... and if memory serves.... I attached black to blue , brown to white . Green ground wire attached to part of the lights metal bracket .....I wrapped it around the threaded center Long screw. It’s working great and haven’t had any issues. Well.... I was concerned with the amount of heat that was coming off it at the socket. I switched to a led bulb and that seems to be much better. But if your going for the modern look of using Edison bulb it’s kinda scary how hot it gets. I switched bulbs and it worked out but I mean I’m not getting the look I really wanted. And it could be the bulb I used causing the heat and not pendent it’s self. my concern is that if my light wasn’t positioned over my sink where I would notice how hot it was getting .....if it was up on the ceiling than somebody wouldn’t notice how hot it’s getting and it could be a real danger! I do believe that Edison bulbs do tend to run hot. I’m going to install a dimmer switch and try the Edison bulb again with the dimmer switch. I feel like you really kind of need a dimmer switch with all Edison bulbs. They are very bright and because it’s an older style of bulbs they really heat up!! The good news is you could save on your heating bill...I’m kidding about that! I’ll update on results after dimmer switch is installed and I try with the Edison bulb again. There is always the option of using an LED Edison bulb. But it isn’t quite the same look as the original style Edison bulb. Also make sure you get an Edison bulb that is dimmer switch compatible. So you have that option. New house... so pics reflect that...😊

Turned out exactly as I pictured
Full disclosure, I did not install the lights, my brother did. From what I could tell, the only hard part was hanging the wooden box. That was mostly due to not having the correct hardware. I love these lights. Only one fixture is pictured because apparently I did not take a picture of the best one. I still have one light left and haven't yet decided what I'm going to do with it

Function and value
The functionality of using to restring a light, hardwire 3 places and build 2 custom lights was enough but there is simply no better value on Amazon and I shipped tell weeks to find it

I hope U are an electrician
I was comparing prices to another set of lights like this I got. I thought 6 were a better value but U need to wire these. I'd be scared to. I went back to the ready ones that were already wired and bought 2 sets of them.
