Airsoft Luger
The airsoft Luger is a very good toy. It works well and it looks authentic. Remember, it’s only a fancy BB gun, but it beats buying a $3000 real one. The average person would not know the difference. It’s kind of fun to shoot stuff in the backyard.

I have both versions of the Umarex P8
This will be short since there is a lot already written about them. Both are beautiful guns in appearance. To my eye they are virtually identical. Also true in weight, balance etc. The blow back feature is a nice aspect but it doesn't disqualify the non-blowback version for me. I cleaned and lubed the blowback version and it has worked flawlessly so far. I did the same for the non-blowback version and it has performed flawlessly as well. As mentioned by others, neither gun is particularly accurate and the sights are not the easiest to line up. I applied a bit of white to the front sight to make it easier. I can keep 5 shots from both pistol roughly within a 3" splatter target at 18ft. with an outlier here and there. The power is the large difference. In my fairly cool temperature basement the blowback version averaged around 245 fps and could basically only dent soda cans. The non-blowback version averaged around 390 fps and was a bit more fun to shoot for me. I am definitely happy with both pistols.

Avoid. It’s a wish gun, if you have one you will wish it worked.
Bought a second po8 after returning the first gun due to a full auto issue, and trigger that wouldn’t reset. Both guns looked great. Both guns felt great.I returned the first and second guns due to a safety issue. Both of these semi auto pistols experienced occurrences of full auto firing, dumping remanding bb’s. 🫨😬😬😬.The sights of second po8 were off so much I had to aim five inches to the right of target, a soup can, fifteen feet away 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️. Actually it may not have been the sights as the brass bb barrel is off center. Second pistol had unprofessional looking file marks inside on the toggle.

A hoot to shoot.
Solid, hefty, precisely made. Serious fun. Shoots soda can accurate at reasonable distances if one does one’s part. While pricey an extra magazine is nonetheless worthwhile. No issues with pistol so far. Impressed with build quality. Like anything precision made the pistol likely will not tolerate abuse or neglect so treat it accordingly.Buy lots of co2 cartridges. One cartridge will power two fills of bbs, approximately 40 shots before power fades. The whole point of this pistol is the blow back action, and co2 consumption is the price to pay.I load only 10 bbs at a time to pace the shooting. CO2 cools rapidly as used, cooling reduces pressure. Having to stop and reload gives the cartridge time to warm up a bit. Shorter shot strings also reduce cooling effect. FWIW, the P08 firearm magazine only holds eight rounds so using fewer bbs at a time is closer to the real deal.Did I mention this Is an hoot to shoot? Get one. Have fun.

Very cool BB gun with some caveats..
This is a very well made BB replica of a P08 Luger pistol. The operation is very similar to the real thing. That being said, it has a lot of moving parts (like the real one). It takes more CO2 pressure to operate all those moving parts. So, cylinders do not last a terribly long time. Mine stopped working properly around 100 rounds. Had to lubricate with very light oil to make it work again. And I mean lube everything. Every moving part. But happy with it, a little fussy, and everyone who sees it thinks it's a real P08..

Eine waffe für den krieg
I didn't have the chance to field test it yet, but I can say that the air gun looks and feels great in the hand. It's an accurate replica of the P08 parabellum side arm, weights around two pounds with a loaded magazine + Co2 cartridge. The toggle action mechanism feels realistic and it's possible to take off the upper by twisting a pin underneath the barrel just like in the real luger. I assume it's not steel but some metal alloy made and comes with two black plastic side plates, which could probably be exchanged to original wooden plates if you want to go one step forward to make it look even more lugerish. According to many reviews it's not a super powerful air gun (300fps) The blow back system takes quite a lot of the CO2 cartridge...which is fair enough. In my opinion it's a great replica of a legendary firearm with some function to it...which makes it a valuable item to own. It could be a great prop for battle reconstruction purposes and in the same time you can have some fun shooting it...(which I'm looking forward to) Umarex released a few interesting famous/infamous pistols with a great attention to detail this is one of them.

Co2 guzzler
Pretty good gun, but malfunctions a ton while shooting. The co2 is gone within the first round. But still a cool gun, just not for shooting.
