Kids love this one. It has great pictures. Perfect for kids of any age beginning to learn the animals names. Each name is also spelled phonetically so they get the pronunciation correct, no guessing!!

Carrie does a wonderful job bringing Asatru to the little ones. I'm so thankful to of found her books. I buy them for each heathen baby I know

This book has quickly become a family favorite. My kids always loved hearing about the animals that lived with the Norse Gods, and this book has the best descriptions I have found in any Norse children's book so far.The designs are simple and elegant, and the animal pictures are just adorable. The book is full color, very enjoyable to flip through. It even includes (and properly names) some of the lesser known animals in the World Tree.One of my favorite features is that many of the animals names are also explained, and their stories are included as well.An excellent addition to any children's library, and absolutely essential to the Heathen Family.

This is an excellent book for all children to learn about mythology and mythic creatures from Europe. The print is large enough for new and learning readers. I highly recommend this book!
