Great Filter for Countertop
Iโve been using the SimPure Y9A UV Countertop Reverse Osmosis system for a while now, and itโs honestly one of the best purchases Iโve made for my home. The water tastes incredibly clean and crisp โ way better than bottled water and the alkaline remineralization gives it a smooth, natural taste instead of that flat RO flavor. The setup couldnโt be easier since itโs countertop and doesnโt require installation. Just plug it in and start using it. The 300 GPD capacity is more than enough for daily use, and it fills quickly without any hassle. I also really appreciate the UV purification feature it adds an extra layer of confidence that the water is safe, especially for family use. The build quality feels solid and modern, and it looks great on the counter. Overall, if you want high-quality purified water without dealing with under-sink installation, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend.

Genuinely clean water without plumbing -surprisingly capable countertop
We bought the SimPure Y9A as a no-installation alternative to an under-sink RO system, and after several weeks of daily use, itโs earned its spot on the counter. Setup & Design: Genuinely plug-and-play. No drilling, no plumbing, no calling a handyman. Fill the back tank, plug it in, flush the filters per the manual, and youโre dispensing within 20 minutes. The footprint is reasonable for a 4-stage RO + UV system โ smaller than I expected. The TDS readout on the front is a nice touch; ours dropped from ~180 ppm tap to single digits within the first few pours. Water Quality: This is where it earns the price. The 4-stage filtration (sediment โ carbon โ RO membrane โ post-carbon) plus UV sterilization produces water that tastes noticeably cleaner than Brita-style pitchers. No chlorine taste, no metallic edge. The pH+ feature adds back minerals so the water doesnโt taste flat the way pure RO water often does. Dispensing: Multiple temperature presets are useful โ instant hot for tea, room temp for drinking, and adjustable volume. The hot water is genuinely fast (under 5 seconds), which replaced our kettle. What to Know Before Buying: โข Like all RO systems, it produces wastewater. The drain tank fills up and needs to be emptied โ not a dealbreaker but worth knowing. โข Filter replacements add to long-term cost; budget for that. โข Itโs not silent when filtering, but itโs quieter than a dishwasher. Verdict: Excellent fit if you rent, canโt install under-sink plumbing, or want clean water without committing to a permanent system. The combination of RO + UV + remineralization at this price point is hard to beat. Would buy again.

Easy Setup, Perfect for Renters, Removes 99.9% of Contaminants
I can already tell this is one of the best purchases Iโve made for my health and home. There are so many reasons I love this water purifier. First, the setup could not have been easier. The quick start guide walked me through everything step by step. All I had to do was rinse the tank, fill it up, and plug it in. It started running automatically, and after cycling the water four times as recommended, it was ready to go. The filtration power is impressive. This system can filter up to 300 gallons per day, which is far more than most countertop filters. With its 6-stage purification process and 3 advanced filters, it removes 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and contaminants. The replacement filters are affordable and do not need to be changed often, which makes it both cost effective and convenient. The taste of the water is outstanding. It is crisp, clean, and has no strange odor. I made sure to get the version with remineralization, and I am so glad I did. Standard reverse osmosis removes everything, but this purifier adds back essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Not only does the water taste fresh, but it also supports better hydration and overall health. You could add minerals separately with drops or sea salt, but having the purifier do it for you makes life so much easier. The design is another big win. It is compact, sleek, and fits perfectly on my countertop without taking up too much space. There is no complicated plumbing or installation required. Just plug it in and you have pure, mineralized drinking water at your fingertips. If you are looking for a high quality purifier that gives you peace of mind, saves money on bottled water, and actually makes your water taste amazing, this is it. I highly recommend the SimPure Y9A to anyone who wants a healthier, more convenient way to enjoy clean water every single day.

Bad water read even after several flushes
We just got this unit and we did 6 flushes now (which is 3 more we usually do) but the water purity tester is showing subpar results, even worse the than cheap Zero water 5 gallon unit that was $50!? I donโt understand how this is possible for a brand new unit that is $400 to have the reading above 50 when a $20 filter from the generic brands can get me to 0 or between 0 and 5?! I have the alkaline version, could that be the issue? Edit: In addition the water now smells like fish. Weโve done 4-5 flushes since then and nothing is helping. This is POS and will most likely return it. Second device from this brand, second time we have an issue. This is the last time weโre supporting this brand.

Does its job but needs improvements
The water tastes great and I change the water about once per day. Twice per day if I am using the water for cooking, such as pasta. I did have to flush it about 10 times (they recommend at least 3-5 times) before I stopped getting floating stuff in the water. They mention in the manual this can happen due to the protective liquid (food grade glycerin) in the RO filter cartridge and that it disappears after flushing. However, I started getting floating stuff in the water again after a little while. Not sure why it keeps coming back if they said it disappears after flushing. It is not coming from my tap water. I wish they had the rejected water in its own isolated compartment or at least have the divider closer to the top. The rejected water constantly enters the feed/source water, so the system is constantly trying to filter water that it has already filtered. I used water test strips and a TDS meter. Tap water ranges from 430-450 ppm. Filtered water through this ranges from 40-50 ppm and bottled water was 20-22 ppm. The top part of the water tank is starting to bend on the left side. There are no latches or anything to secure the lids. They lay flat on top. I have dropped the lid into the water tank several times when I go to change out the water. It does take a while to dispense the water, especially if you are using a lot for cooking. I suggest getting a pitcher or water bottles to fill them beforehand. I wish the water dispenser itself was higher as I cannot fit containers greater than 8 inches tall underneath it. Some water bottles will not fit. I usually have to move the magnetic drip catcher as well. I do have to wipe down the water tank and the part of the system that holds it every time I change the water to help prevent leaks. Otherwise, water will leak around it when I place it back in. It is a bit concerning how close it can leak next to the power cord in the back if you are not careful. This is still a decent system and it fits in my apartment.

Excellent water filtration system. Worth the purchase
After using zerowater filters for multiple years and having to change the filters every 2 weeks, I found this RO system very useful. After search for a countertop RO systems for multiple weeks, and reviewing multiple products online, I finally bought this and it meets all my expectations. Its been almost 2 months since I started using this. The instruction booklet is clear with the steps to initial setup and filtering, and maintenance of the system. The filters come pre-installed and is very easy to setup for the first use. It is also easy to get the filter cabinet and to unplug and plug new ones when needed. The water filtering and dispense is quick after touch of the button. I am impressed with the taste of the water. I love the fact that it adds minerals to the water after RO filtration which I was missing when using the zerowater filters. I like the design with the water tank on the side, I just feel it is more practical making it easier to access for filling and emptying. Overall it is a great value with reasonably priced RO system.

Good Taste and Easy to Use
Iโve been using the SimPure Y9A for almost two months now, and it has been a great purchase. The setup was very simple since itโs a countertop system, and it started working right out of the box. My wife used to drink only bottled water before I bought this, but now she prefers drinking water from the SimPure system. She really loves it, which says a lot. The water tastes very clean and fresh, and you can tell that itโs filtering really well. Another thing I like is how fast it filters water compared to many other RO systems. The taste is great thanks to the remineralization, and we havenโt had any issues so far. Overall, itโs a really good product, and weโre very happy with it. Highly recommended if you want clean, great-tasting water without relying on bottled water.

Very good filtration that provides great tasting water
I bought the Y7P-BW UV more than 2 years ago. Since it is in storage and various reasons, it is not accessible until late this year. Needed to address the water issue and went with the newest model, Y9A UV. It definitely is an improvement with a better filtration system, remineralization, and a side-mounted water tank that makes adding water much easier. The remineralization makes a difference, which I did not expect. This is a high-quality system that even addresses the hard water issue at my home. Have not had to replace filters yet, so donโt know how that will work. It was manageable with the Y7P and it will be easier with this model. It does take room on the countertop, so you do need to take that into account. I highly recommend and would be again!

Nice size and tastes like water from under sink reverse osmosis
Absolutely love this! Water tastes just like it came from an under sink reverse osmosis system. We live in an apartment and like our reverse osmosis like we had in a house. And it isnโt overly big.

Quality and durability and price
I have been using this for 1.5 months. The filters are supposed to last 6-9 months. We are a family of 3 and the TDS when we installed it was 20 ppm. After one month it went to 35 ppm and now it is at 71 ppm at 1.5 months. You can see a picture. We live in Toronto so the starting TDS is 151 ppm. I am going to have to purchase a new filter system which together cost $200. If that is how my no have to spend every year = $1400 a year on Top of the $550 price tag. It is not worth it.
