Autosion Android 10 Cortex Car DVD Player GPS Stereo Head Unit Navi Radio Multimedia Wifi for Mercedes Benz SLK R171 2004-2011 Support Steering Wheel Control

First off this is a fantastic upgrade to the old school radio / CD player you get as standard on the earlier R171 SLK's. Once fitted it perfectly complements the Mercedes interior and looks factory standard except of course it's a fully functional android touch screen. The amp in the head unit is also an improvement over the original radio, plus of course you can do all of the other things you can do with an Android phone. I'm very pleased with the item as it brings the car bang up to date with all of its features, including GPS, DVD and SD card sound / movie playback, internet browser etc etc plus it reads odbc2 data from the car in real time and it also has a full band radio. My only gripe was that the touch screen didn't work initially, but this was fixed by the company sending me a replacement touchscreen, which wasn't too difficult to fit in the end, but my bill from the garage who fitted it was a lot higher than expected due to the sheer number of repeat trips to get it working.All in all this is a great buy though and I would recommend this to everyone that has an SLK with the standard radio..

It's very easy to fit.It's quite time consuming fitting all the extras.eg reverse camera, lots of pulling of trim and carpet to counsel wires, however things like the OBDII is just plug and play. It's well worth the money it fits into the dash as well as the original one did and you wouldn't know that it wasn't an original fit.

A very good upgrade to the original Mercedes fitted radio. Comes with GPS maps and bluetooth connection, looks similar to original too which is a plus. Not too difficult to install as came with all the wiring and connectors required and only basic car electrics needed with about an hour taken. Recomended.
