Amazon Brand - Solimo Everyday Moisture Body Wash with Colloidal Oatmeal, 18 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 4)

We were about to run out of body wash and I couldn't get to the store, so I decided to give Amazon's Solimo line a try. Very decent alternative to Aveeno, which is more than twice the price. Husband barely noticed the difference at first and neither did I. Over time, however, something does seem off, but not enough to necessarily warrant a change. And when I say off, I don't mean it isn't working or anything - not quite sure, just not an exact alternative. What is, though? It is its own thing! Great, especially for the price. Hasn't seemed to bother either of us, too (and we both have sensitive skin).

I was looking for a body wash for a dry scaly skin condition on my back. I had tried others, but they didn't work too well. Then I read that colloidal oatmeal is good for the skin, and went looking for a product containing it. This one through Amazon looked like just what I wanted, but at first all these three only showed up as Prime Pantry items. I didn't want a Prime Pantry box, as I don't have enough things to order to make a reasonable box, so I kept looking. Finally, I got this body wash to come up as a regular purchase or a Subscribe and Save. I didn't want to Subscribe abd Save until I tried it, but I have ordered a regular purchase and it works great -- pleasant and soothing. I will be putting it on Subscribe and Save for my next purchase.

So I usually use the Aveeno body wash that this compares to and I can say for sure that this is actually comparable. I have not noticed any extra dryness or skin sensitivity from it. Basically I ahvent noticed that I have not been using Aveeno which is exactly what I want! I have severely dry skin with eczema and I am allergic to almost everything. I was terrified to even order this because I was scared of the break out it might cause. I was so extremely thankful that it was just as moisturizing and nourishing for my skin as the on brand and it is even better that it is a couple dollars cheaper. I highly recommend this to everyone but especially people with sensitive skin and people who have found only Aveeno works like me.

I have fairly hard well water in a home outside of city limits. This body wash suds up real nice even with the water here. Leaves my skin feeling clean and soft afterwards. The scent is OK but not something that I would use as a reason to purchase again. Compared to the generic body wash I was using from a dollar store chain this from Amazon is a superior product. I will definitely be buying Amazon store brand body wash again but may search for a different scent next time. Overall I was impressed with the product and would recommend to others as a good option.

One thing not listed on the ratings it the longevity of the bottle. My wife had an eczema outbreak several months ago and out of desperation for relief I ordered this and other daily hygiene items to help. Well since then she has used this happily and it seems to last at least twice as long as a normal bottle of body wash. Her skin has significantly improved when used with Amazon's eczema lotion. More and more Amazon brand products have made their way into our home and pushed out much more premium names and we could not be happier.

I got very angry at the Dove (Unilever) company recently and decided I needed to switch my body wash brand. I bought some Dove body wash on sale at Target and I could swear that it had been watered down! It made me so upset that I ordered this multi-pack. I won't be switching back. The packaging is ugly, but who cares?The body wash itself is thick, smells nice, and lathers well, which was not the case with my watered down Dove Men's body wash. This four pack was reasonably priced and will last me months and months. Couldn't be more pleased.

I used to use Avena because normal soaps dry me out so bad. My hands and feet used to be bright red and itchy after a shower(even with Avena) and since switching to Amazon's brand my showers are great. Rarely do I itch (I have sensitive skin and live in an area that uses majority groundwater) and I always feel clean after. And holy crap am I saving money with better results.Oh yea and my knees aren't ashy. I just thought that was me, but this "cheap" Amazon product makes my skin look wicked good

Smells great and the colloidal oatmeal really soothes my mild but persistent eczema. When I get itchy, I add to a warm bath, slather the nice foam on the irritation and am relieved. What I really like is that it doesn’t leave oatmeal curds all over the tub. Leaves the tub clean!
