I ordered this after a lot of research. I was able to test drive it inside. It feels sturdy, but I needed more power. The company was very accommodating regarding my return.

Hola, compré una Rubicon DX 07 y recibí una Baichen modelo BC-EA5516C, made in China. En cuanto a calidad, la silla funciona bien, tiene unos pequeños detalle que indico a continuación: Se han soltado unos pernos que sujetan la barra diagonal que va desde el asiento a las ruedas traseras provocando que pierda su alineación. Hay un pequeño juego en el respaldo lo que hace que este se mueva un poco . En cuanto a funcionamiento: La batería dura poco, es necesario recargarla después de un viaje de más de 4 horas. Lo ideal sería tener otra de repuesto para llevarla cargada y reemplazar en camino. El funcionamiento del Joystick es muy brusco, incluso en posición 1, es dificil maniobrar con precisión en espacios estrechos, sin topar con paredes o mesas. Esta falta de regulación produce que al tratar de superar bordillos o desniveles, se debe tener una persona atrás afirmando, ya que el accionamiento es brusco y la silla tiende a irse de espaldas, y debe ser sujetada por un acompañante para no caer. Las tapas de adorno de las ruedas traseras se salieron rápidamente. En cuanto a potencia, es suficiente para recorrer veredas pavimentadas e incluso terrenos planos con grava o pasto con cierto desnivel. Para terrenos con más pendiente u obstáculos se necesita la ayuda de otra persona. El tamaño es muy adecuado para entrar a lugares estrechos, como baños de hoteles y similares. También ocupa poco espacio una vez plegada para guardar en el baúl del auto. Mejoras posibles: Ruedas delanteras y traseras un poco más grandes para poder abordar desniveles y bordillos de veredas y calles, sin depender de terceros. Batería con más duración, entiendo que hay un límite para transportar en avión. Joystick que permita regular la potencia de partida para evitar posibles vuelcos de espaldas el enfrentar un obstáculo. Más rapidez en acción del freno, al soltar pulsador del Joystick tarda un poco en detenerse, lo que provoca golpear paredes o muebles. Cojín de asiento más blando. el actual es muy duro y debo agregar uno adicional para mayor confort

This chair is lightweight, collapses easily and folds up nicely. My only issue (4stars) is it only holds a charge for a day. If you don’t mind charging this chair daily, then this chair is a BLESSING!

We needed a smaller wheelchair to use in the house and this fit the bill. Very nice, glad we chose this one, and it has great power.

This chair is awesome. I used this last weekend to go to an outdoor concert. When I rec'd the chair 1 of the front wheels was damaged.& the seller was prompt in sending me a replacement wheel. The chair is comfortable the brakes work awesome.

Great for travel, but it doesn't stop very fast. We bought this for our daughter who is in larger power chair to be able to have something lighter and easier to travel with. My daughter is tiny, about 4'8"/85lbs. This is just a shade big for her, but would be perfect for most adults. It folds up small and is super lightweight, making it easy to pack into just about any vehicle. The folding mechanism is easy to figure out and makes packing it around a breeze. It's very sturdy, it holds up well to the constant bashing into things. My daughter says it's fairly comfortable, but not for super long days. She says its good for a few hours, a max of 4, then it starts to thin out. We got her an additional cushion on it helps. The ONLY issue that I have, and it's a fairly big one, is it's not super responsive to the controller. I'm talking the one the rider uses while seated, not the BT controller (nice gimmicky feature, but not really something that a lot of people would use). When she lets off the brake, it continues for a few inches before it actually stops. This isn't usually a big deal but takes some getting used to. This is our chief complaint about this chair. We are used to a medical chair that costs WAAAAY more than this, so stopping is a concern, especially around expensive items. If this is your daily driver, you could get used to the stopping. Not a bad chair for the price. I would have rather seen a USB port or two than the BT controller. The BT controller is very gimmicky and doesn't respond quickly to commands.
