The karaoke came without any damages and all of the parts were there. Assembly was straightforward without any real complications. I think anybody with even a modicum of experience can put this together. So much for that part, the best part is how my cat enjoys this catio. My cat loves it! He begs every morning for me to put them out into the cat house. He enjoys the sights, sounds and smells of being outside without any of the problems associated with being an outside cat. Other Neighborhood Cats come up and visit him safely, no hissing or fighting just visitation. In short I'm very pleased with this and glad that I bought it

So far so good! Went together easy, no weird things that didn't fit together properly, decent instructions and parts labelling.

I am happy I ordered. Reviews seemed mixed, but I am a satisfied customer. Box is heavy. It was well packed, paper layers between sections to avoid damage. There were no broken pieces. Some reviews stated that sections were not labeled. Not accurate - All sections and packages of screws were labeled. We made two modifications before assembly. First - we used an outdoor porch and deck solid color stain and stained every piece. Yes it comes stained, however, it is a very light coating that I was concerned would not protect over time. (It took me 4hrs to stain all pieces.) Second - we used a staple gun and added staples to the mesh walls. It comes with spaced out tiny staples that I was not too confident would hold up. (It took me about an hour to add additional staples). When it came to assembly, there were two of us which made it easy to put together. However, I do believe one person could do. Some reviews claim the wood split and broke when assembling. I am going to guess that those who had issues were due to using an electric drill and over torquing. The wood is soft enough and guide holes are predrilled so using a Phillips head screw driver is all that is needed. In additional, we used wood glue in pieces that have peg holes to add strength. Once all together, it is a very sturdy product. The assembly with two people took less than one hour. I am concerned that the roof top will not hold up to inclement weather, so we will add another layer of roofing shingle or metal to give added waterproofing. Ultimately - this is a very good product. We chose to do some additional work to hopefully give added longevity since we will be using solely outside. It is all a matter of what time and a little added money you want to dedicate to your purchase. Also... you will have a few additional pieces leftover - they are supplied in case you are attaching two unit together. Instructions clearly indicate what pieces are additional for that use. I would recommend this product.

PROS -well packaged -assembled in a few hours with son’s help -versatile assemble options for top and bottom entry -best price around for a catio this size CONS -softish wood, not sure how long will last -wood came nicked and chipped in many places -instructions could be a little clearer, (we were able to correct easily) -bottom plastic mat is a smidge bigger than the cage and prob should be trimmed ****I assembled it and placed just outside my kitchen window, great fit. Purchased a sturdy cat flap for the window So far, Im loving it. Cats aren’t quite used to it yet. ***UPDATE 1/2023 This has been such a blessing for us and our cats. One cat mostly uses it. He is out there all of the time in all kinds of weather. I’d like to say he’s stopped begging me to go out…but no. This catio has withstood snowstorms, heavy winds and rain. The roof is sturdy, the wheel locks work great and the wood has held up nicely. LOVE this thing.

i bought 2 pieces and combined them together..it is a very sturdy cage.easy to assemble.you can get by with a phillips head screw driver,but if you have soft hands,you will want a drill with a phillips head attachment. my hands are calysed and still were a little sore.lol. it comes with pre drilled holes that helps out a lot. the only thing they could do to make it a little easier,,would be to label the pieces with a sticker or something,other than that i have no complaints..having wheels is a big plus for moving it around.. i bought this for my 7 foot boa constrictor knowing i would have to put plexiglass over most of the wired mesh to stop injury of my snake from pushing on it..but it is a steal for the size of the cage,, even after adding plexiglass..a cage for reptiles this large will cost up to 2 thousand if not more. as for cats it would be perfect for a enclosure when needed. all in all im very happy with the enclosure/cage. very sturdy,well priced.if your looking for a large reptile cage buy 2 and combine them together even if you need to make adjustments like plexiglass. it works very well. as for the little sliding doors,i just screwed 2 screws above the doors,no problems at all. you dont need them because of the large front doors gives easy access. when you combine them together,it will say to leave the 2 top sides out so your animal has access to both sides. if your using it for a reptile,the 2 bottom side pieces on the connecting side ,the instructions say to keep them part of the cage for sturdiness,and you should. but if you want your reptile etc. to have access from the bottom side side to,just remove the screen and just use the frame,i did and it works very well and sturdy. for all athers.im not a cat owner,but im positive this would be a good sturdy enclosure when needed. im very happy with the purchase.

Easy to follow instructions.Layed all the parts out and with 2 people It took 1 1/2 hours. I really love the design. My cat that has asthma can now be outside and safe. I have a cat fenced in yard however he has asthma attacks if he runs. This is perfect for him. He went right in an explored every level. I might purchase another one at some point. Well worth the money!!!

Very pleased with this product, we got it for an indoor pigeon that needed a pet home only instead of racing. He gets about and throughly enjoys the cat bed to roost in. Very easy to clean. If I ever decide to have a kitten or small cat this would be ideal for outdoor use . My 15 year old daughter put it together on her own in about 2 hours. Would recommend

It would be ok to keep a chinchilla or a dwarf rabbit perhaps but a cat or a kitten absolutely no no it’s really really cheaply made wobbles about all over the place. Certain areas are not in line once it’s made really disappointed to be honest I feel it’s a waste of money.

Serviceable, but materials quality is not great, I think it will not hold up well over time, especially with active pets or outdoor exposure.

I ordered the small size for my one cat. SmalleR than expected. The cat bowl/hammock is way too small to hold my cat so definitely for cats on the smaller side. Also, the space between the shelves and shelf above it and / or roof does not seem big enough for my cat to sit up in, only lay down. Assembly was pretty easy. Took about 1.5 to 2 hrs. Having a drill is super handy. Seems sturdy. The blocks of wood that I screwed the castors into cracked in spots when the screw went through so not sure how long they will last. I like the detachable waterproof cover. Can be removed easily to provide sunlight. The locking doors seem secure. We will see how my cat likes it as he has only been in it once as I just finished building it.

Worked great for my kitty to enjoy some outside space at the cottage while staying safe. We put it against the door so he could come and go as he pleases to watch the birds and squirrels. Catio wasn't as tall as the sliding glass door so we just blocked off the top of the door. Easy assembly and easy to move around even without the wheels put on. There was a slight paint/stain odor when first removed from the box but it went away fairly quickly.
