I needed a large board that can manage the job of preparing large portions of food. This board fits that task perfectly. I chose the green color to signify this board is for fruits and veggies - and it works great for prepping one of the bulkiest items: watermelon! Trying to balance big items on small boards while holding a sharp knife is a bad idea, so save your fingers.I was able to cut up a watermelon with ease, while keeping the counter clear of watermelon juice. Washing is low effort, and it wipes down easily. I use a cutting board rack for storage. I don't have to worry about maintaining a fancy board for these tasks.

I actually bought this to use as a base for a router table. Often plastic sheet stock has to be machined into spec. But for $20 you can get a nice 18x24" sheet that is flat and square. You can't go wrong if you're a hobbyist looking for a small sheet of HDPE. Would I use it for a cutting board? Of course! The product is flat, very durable and you get to pick the color! If you go to a low end retailer you may save a buck, but it will be white and about 1/8th of an inch thinner and an inferior grade plastic.

The size I ordered is pretty large and have few places I can store it in!! I bought it to add more counter space over the sink!! It works wonderfully!! Easy clean up! Very sturdy and strong!!! Good product!

Ordered this to be a cutting board/seat for our little skiff, but it arrived the day king salmon fishing opened here and was put to immediate kitchen use. About to order a second, slightly bigger one in case we get another 28lbs white king!
