The last year and a half I’ve been trying to fix our in-ground pool lights and here we are…mid-season & they’re still not fixed and I’m not willing to drain the pool! I tried another set of pool lights that came with suction cups but those do not stick to anything except my glass storm door. I tried these because I saw there was a little hole to loop some fish wire through to hang — one I hung from the filter jet and the other two I hung from the skimmer baskets from the inside and they light my 40,000 gallon pool beautifully. I have three but two probably would’ve been fine as well. I would definitely recommend them for the price. The color options are fun with slow or fast moving colors. One remote works for all three, but you do have to be pretty close to them. Glad I tried these to forget about the broken pool light fiasco for the rest of the season!

Not good at all. Tried to give these lights a shot but the battery on them is horrible. First order on these I received both lights. Read directions and charged lights. One charged with no problem but the other light wouldn't fully charge. Had it charging overnight and it still didn't fully charge. I stuck them on my inground pool and turned them on. Decent amount of light comes out of them and the remote also had decent distance. One got about 2.5 to 3 hours of lighting while the defective one got about 1.5 hours before it died. Ordered a third light to replace the defective one and received another defective light that also wouldn't charge properly. 2 out of 3 lights being defective is no bueno. Then I had to charge the good light and that one now is not charging. Only lasted 3 days. I really wanted these lights to work. Oh well.

Either they are defective, a poor design, or maybe just all around bad, but I wish I returned them. Here is the problem, they randomly turn on, change color or lighting pattern, then go dead when you are not using them. The results in the battery going dead, then not being ready when you want to use them. It could be because they are defective, use the same signal frequency as another controller (mine or our neighbors), or just crappy. Leaving them dead will likely destroy the battery, and because the battery is not replaceable, make the whole light worthless. Keeping them charged is the only option, and to do that you still have to deal with lights randomly turning on or starting to flash. For now, they are continuously being charged, in a box, in a cabinet. When we want to use them, we have to put them in the pool, turn them on, then just accept that the color will randomly change color or turn off entirely, and we will fight it until we go inside. It would be 1 star, but so far they are waterproof, so I added another star to the total. Updated: After my review (which was made 6 months after purchase) the seller reached out to provide a full refund. This was completely unexpected as the return window was closed for 5 months, and the item was not available at the time. I took the refund and the seller was very gracious. I updated the product to 4 stars based primarily on the 5 star seller, but couldn’t give it a full 5 stars because of the above issues. I imagine this must have been a one off for them as refunding would be cost prohibitive.

I’ve purchased my fair share of different lights for my pool, including the plug in and the puks. I can’t get past the plug in on safety and let’s face it, u need numerous puks to light up a pool and that’s a lot to keep up with not to mention the batteries for each. So I searched and found these. I have a 16x32 rectangle pool so I purchased two and they light up the whole pool perfectly. They are rechargeable so no batteries. They magnetize to the wall of the pool and they are strong enough even when the kids play all day they stay put. A few more color options would be nice, but I’m not complaining. They were perfect for us. Would purchase again and recommend.

Absolutely awesome addition to my pool! Couple of things to know… do not submerge it too far below the surface or the remote doesn’t work that great. It doesn’t need to be very deep at all to work really well. If you have a steel sided pool, it’s magnetic so you literally just charge it up and stick it to the wall and you’re done. It will not illuminate your pool at all during the daytime…Duh. It works awesome at night better than expected.

So far so good. The light is very bright in the water. This pool light is easy to charge and I like the color options. The magnet on the back of the light strongly holds it to our inground, lined, pool. I originally started a return on this light, because the remote did not work. I tried a new battery and it still would not work. I ordered 2 of the lesser expensive lights from this brand and the remote control from those worked with this light. So, I decided to keep this light and I’m glad I did.

Too bright. Wish they could be dimmed more. Battery doesn’t last long either.

If I could give this an 11 out of 10 I would. I tried a few different pool lights and they all sucked. This light was exactly what I was looking for. I have a 16x32 deep in ground and the 2 lights light it up well at night. The batteries last long at least 6 hours. The magnet is super strong, i have a concrete lined pool with metal behind the concrete and it magnetizes to the wall and holds well. I am super happy with the product.
