bought one of these, for my mom. My dad didn't realize he had a puddle of coffee in the microwave before heating it, and burnt a hole clean through it. This is our second order, as we needed one for everyone in the family. 3.5 min in our microwave gives a good 30 minutes of soothing warmth. It's not super hot, none of the wraps you heat in a microwave will stay hot for a long period of time, if you want extended heat therapy, get an electric heating pad. This is great for post-shoveling sore shoulders, or, if frozen, post swimming sunburns. Just make sure your microwave is clean before heating it up!

Simply perfect! I've been looking for a wrap that covers back, neck and chest and have finally found this one. It works great and feels good when worn. I'd like to find one that works more like a heating pad as the heat doesn't last very long with this wrap, but still good for sore, tight muscles.

I thought this product was able to freeze but it doesn't.It gets really cold but it doesn't last that long.I got it for my wife to wear over her shirt when she drives to work in order to stay cool since her air conditioning went out.She works about 20 minutes away, not too far and she says it only stays cold for about 10 minutes and then it becomes room temperature and even a little warm by the time she gets to work.I thought it was more like an ice pack where it had gel in it that can freeze but I think it has some sort of beeds it that just gets cold and not frozen.I did leave it in the freezer for 2 days and it still didn't stay cold enough for her to get to work just 20 minutes away.Oh well, what can you do :(

I bought this to put on my patients while they have a 3-5 hour treatment. They are usually cold and even 3 blankets sometimes does not warm them sufficiently due to their disease. This tends to hold heat for an extended time and not one has asked for it to be reheated over a 3-4 hour interval. Every one of my patients has been grateful and overjoyed with having this new convenience to help make a long treatment much more tolerable. It also helps them sleep, which makes a treatment seem shorter. Wish it had a plastic sleeve or some easily cleanable outer surface so it could be disinfected between patients. I use a thin trash bag, but this is not very aesthetically pleasing as just a cover would be. Still, it does the job. Well worth the small cost.

I'll get my negative comment out of the way: after a while it smells funny, especially if your microwave has any odor left in it from something you've cooked.Other than the funny smell, I love it. I use it all winter long. I've never used it as a cool wrap though. It holds a good amount of heat for at least 15 minutes and a decent amount of heat for probably 30. Sometimes when its really cold in the winter I wear it under my coat. (Kind of bulky for that but totally worth it). I find it very relaxing and helps those tight neck muscles. sometimes I take it to bed and drape it over my feet because I cant sleep if my feet are cold but I don't want to go to bed with a heating pad. I think the heat is more soothing and penetrating than a heating pad anyway. I microwave it a little longer than the directions say. I've had it for probably 5 years and none of the beans (or whatever is inside it) have come out or anything. The quilting keeps them well-distributed throughout the piece.

I really like me new Comfort Wrap. I don't have any trouble getting this to heat up, nor do I get any mildew smell. 1 - 1 1/2 minutes in the micro, really works, and it is soooo soft and flexible, it can be used for a lot more places than just around the shoulders. (Although that is what the original purchase was for). Its very light weight, I I just love it. I just loaned it to a friend for her hip, (she had nothing else) and relief it gave her appeared on her face. I am going to order another one for her right now.

This is the best heating pad I have ever owned. My neck, shoulder & back are benefitting, greatly. The pad is covered with a soft, cozy material and it covers a large portion on the back of the neck, shoulders, halfway down the back. I love it!

Me encanto. Tengo meses usándolo y funciona súper bien, siempre lo uso en medium, una vez le puse el máximo e igual se sintió como el médium. Pero excelente precio, presentación y funcionamiento.
