These are NOT MATS. It’s a workbook. It Says on the cover that they are learning mats. In order for these pages to be mats they need to be much bigger. Don’t get me wrong this is a great alphabet learning work book. I was a little disappointed when I saw that they weren’t learning mats. It is a little overpriced because it’s a regular sized preschool workbook. The pages are very neat, clear and simple. The pictures don’t have lots of detail it’s easy for a younger child to color.

This is absolutely the best letter practice book I have found for my kindergarten boy, who is also barely five. He was struggling with attention and hand control, and this is by far most interesting practice book for his age. It combines letter tracing with trying to find correct letters coloring and then revealing hidden picture, letter search among other letters, trying to find and color objects that start with same letter. So it's also good color finding practice. And has separate practice pages for upper case and then lower case letters. He actually likes to do this book. I definitely recommend this workbook.

Great resource to use for students to solidify their knowledge of the alphabet.

I use this book as homework for my kindergarten class. I love the fact that it has separate worksheets for upper and lower case letters, since I'm teaching how to write lower case letters first...so it definitely is a big plus!

Perfect for a teacher who needs to step back and teach some basic skills to Kindergartners who come in with no prior academic knowledge. Great for EL students, too.
