Marvel's Super Hero Adventures Spider-Man: A Tangled Web (Magnetic Hardcover)

Fun
The media could not be loaded. My 3 year old son has a lot of fun with this book. It’s very colorful and interactive. Magents stick on pretty well (see video) even when book is shaken. There’s a small plastic part you can store the magnets. My kid lost a few already (no surprise).

Cute, but magnetism could be better.
My 2 year old really enjoys this, but gets frustrated when he can’t put magnets exactly where he wants them. He’s putting them where he should be able to, but sometimes you have to slide them half an inch over for them to hold.

A nice idea, but magnets don't stick well and get lost easily
This book is a fun idea. It's a series of interactive dioramas where you place various good guys and bad guys from the Spider-Man universe to create a scene from your imagination. (There isn't really a "story" per se - each page is more or less a stand-alone scene - so I'm not sure what other reviewers meant about liking the "story.")Unfortunately, the magnets are made of heavy cardboard with (apparently) only a small amount of magnetic material inside them. Therefore, their sticking power is very weak. This causes two problems:(1) The magnets slide around on the page during normal use. E.g., if your child shifts to holding the book at a steeper angle on his/her lap, then Spider-Gwen is likely to accidentally slide down into the ocean, and Venom will slide off the page altogether.(2) The magnets fall off and get lost really easily. We tried taking this book in the car.... BIG MISTAKE. Especially when my son dropped the book in our somewhat messy car, the magnets just scattered everywhere. I think we are now down to about 2 of the original ~12 magnets.Making matters worse, there isn't really a proper place to store the magnets. They come in what is essentially a blister pack that's embedded in the book. Although the blister pack is resealable in theory, it is stiff and difficult for young children to open and close. Sometimes my 3-year-old son will ask me for help closing it; more often, he'll just leave the magnets sitting on the pages, where they fall off into his bedsheets or under the rug. What I learned from this book: Entropy, not super-villains, is the greatest threat to Spider-Man and his friends.

Great book for web heads.
My 4 year old loves this book. He loves books, Spider-Man, and stickers. This is better because it’s reusable. He loves to play with this. My one problem is the place where the magnets go isn’t very secure. They fall out.

Nice Book
The illustrations in this book are very nice, as well as the characters, but the magnets are not the strongest, and are easy to lose.
