I was able to accomplish more work in high heat and humidity. When you're able to give it what it needs (CONSTANT SUPPLY of 100-120PSI) you're good. The problem is, most job site compressors aren't going to give you a constant 120. You gotta remember, this is like having a leak in your tank. Your compressor might be able to limp along and make this thing operate at 50%, but to have a constant supply for more than a half hour, you're going to need a 1000gal tank.I can't give it less stars, because when this thing is on, it feels like ice on your skin. It's FREEZING cold. And that's a huge plus in my book.Also, it doesn't cost all that much. Another big plus.On the down side, the clip they give you to put it on a belt is very flimsy metal. I really wish it was designed differently. It became bent pretty badly over the span of 8 hours. I finally had to forego the clip and lash it onto a belt loop with a piece of string. The string worked better and was more comfortable.

It works. Tube that runs through vest has small holes so the cool air comes through. Bought to wear under chemical suit while offloading my truck. I had to buy a tube and fitting so i could plug it into my trucks air system. Low price, it cools, hope it lasts.

I didn't have high expectations for this product but figured any cooling would be better than basting in my own sweat while welding in a hot shop. To my surprise this vest works great! I can weld all day in a very hot shop and not break a sweat. The vortex tube, though injection molded rather than machined aluminum far exceeds my expectations. The hot end produces air too hot to leave your hand in front of which means the cold end produces very cool air. I'm 6'1 with a long torso. the vest's bottom end rides just above my navel which is good and probably how it was intended to fit because if it were much lower you would lose cold air out the bottom of your jacket or whatever you wear over the vest to keep the cool air contained. Others have complained about the fit but I think it meant to fit that way. I intend to suggest that my company have these vests available on hand for welders to purchase for use on hot days. One thing to note is that you should supply this vest with a high capacity air compressor. a small garage type compressor won't be able to keep up or will run constantly.

Vest is extremely small. I wear so and this vest sits above my belly button. Upset that size is an issue. The size is causing a problem too because the turbo they give you is like 2 inches so I can have the belt sit around my waist but rather my stomach which infuriates me because I was expecting high quality and this falls way short of it. You also have to burn the belt in order to use it? Poor designing!

Didn’t know it wasn’t all one size fits all and it was too small. It was a gift that I saved for too long and now I can’t return it. Sigh.
