A very good oil
I had this oil for two years now and is the real deal. The smell and quality of the oil is still very good and it didn’t suffer to much oxidation. This one really have a nice sweet tone followed by earthy wooody smell . I had few other oils but they were expensive and synthetic. I love using few drops of it on my skin and jacket followed by couple of sprays of Tom Ford Oud Wood. Mixing them both really makes an amazing sent that lasts for days.

Smells Like The Real Thing!
I have purchase SANDALWOOD essential oils before and the majority of them have smelt like Eu De Cologne if I have to be honest! I always wondered if that was REALLY the smell of sandalwood or was I being duped... well, I am "happy" to say I was being duped! Because this one by Gya Labs seems to be the REAL thing. I recently purchased sandalwood sticks, and they smell exactly the same... So if not for the smell and the texture, Im not sure what else to look for that will spell "genuine" to me?! ... Thanks!! :)

Ridiculous dropper in bottle top!
Lovely strong pure smell that lasts but unfortunately i tried to put an extra hole into top as nothing would come out. After many attempts i cut the complete bottom off the plastic dropper & this still did not work. I ended up taking it completely out-was covered in oil (which smelt lovely) but what a waste! and not exactly cheap. I now have just under 3/4 bottle with no plastic dropper on. This will have to be very carefully poured not to waste any more. Very awkward for a 10ml bottle. 'Come on....please fix this problem!'

Subtle natural and lasting fragrance.
I really like this natural woody yet spicy fragrance, yes a bit pricey but worth it for quality and you can pay a fortune for a weak spray just for the designer name. The quality packaging was neat and labelled exactly with the tree name that confirmed for me it was 100% exactly what I wanted and not blended with anything.

took months to arrive, and blooming expensive - but smells good,
I ordered a whole bunch of essential oils & other ingredients to make my own home made beard balms.I thought the price of beard balms were just too expensive to be buying as often as i needed them (i have medium size beard, but my beard is thick. I use a heaped thumbnail size amount, sometimes 2) to coat my beard properly, and fully - i am quite heavy handed and do sometimes use too much - which is what can make it expensive. So buying the ingredients, and making my own is a far more cost effective way of keeping my beard soft, conditioned and under control. The essential oils all play their own part in providing nutrients to my skin and beard, and can help against itchy, flaky beards. And depending what ingredients go in, the balms can be used at night or day, and each have their own benefits - from conditioning to growth, to strength. The scents smell nice to begin with, but they don't last all day. Id say they last a good couple hours - but then again, my nose gets used to it, and i often cant smell it half hour after i put it on...*please note* - If you are going to make your own balms, seek professional advice first, and research all the products you use. Not all essential oils are good for the skin & hair, and you can have an allergic reaction. And what works on my skin and hair may not work on yours.. So please don't just copy what i have. (i don't have all my products pictured)

Really is a top quality product
This is all new to me so not really all that clued up on essential oils.Wanted to try my hand at making my own pre-shave oil, found a recipe that included sandalwood (love the smell) and after wasting my money on a lesser product (not a lesser price though) eventually found Gya sandalwood and fair play the smell, the longevity of this oil is awesome. Love it, really impressed. As I said I did buy another product before this one (naissance sandalwood) and there really is no comparison whatsoever, this Gya sandalwood is by far the superior product. So if like me you ain't sure which make to purchase hopefully you'll find this review and it'll help you make the better choice (and save you some money too).So from my very limited experience I would happily and confidently recommend this product.

1 bottle in 6 years
I just noticed perhaps it's time to buy a new bottle, looked through my history and saw I bought this bottle (still some left) in June 2019.Honestly, there's cheaper but they're all suspect - this is 100% and you really need just a drop or two.

Doesn’t smell of anything
Hardly any scent all! For such an expensive sandalwood bottle, I expected much more. It’s really well packaged, giving false impression of quality, but honestly I’ve bought sandalwood oil for a fraction of the price of this product and it had a much stronger smell. I’ve put half the bottle’s content in 50ml of carrier oil and still can’t smell a thing! Complete waste of money. Not recommended at all.

not pure essential oil
This is not 100% pure Indian Sandalwood essential oil, it smells very synthetic. Very disappointed.

Unrivaled Quality
I’ve tried a lot of of sandalwood oils and this is truly one of the best (comparable to Mt Sapola quality). It is expensive but really smells rich and sweet, not thinned out and sour like some blends. I believe some reviewers are struggling to smell this oil as sandalwood is generally considered a “base note” in perfumery. It tends to blend into the background and you don’t notice it after a while. I know this is potent as I diffuse it in my kids’ bedroom while they sleep. When I enter the room to check on them, I can smell the sandalwood very strongly. Their bedsheets also smell of the diffused oil in the morning, which they love. They say it helps them to sleep deeply.
