I can’t speak to the longevity of the Stitchy because it just arrived today; however I previously bought a similar green knockoff and it had numerous problems the pink Stitchy has resolved! 1. The green knockoff had a needle cover but it wasn’t attached and was easily misplaced. The needle cover on the Stitchy is attached. 2. The knockoff didn’t come with a travel case which is such a shame. The pink Stitchy comes with the cutest, drawstring travel bag. I use this tool frequently when I’m in trips. 3. The knockoff was hard to refill. After a year the tool broke so it was useless. The Stitchy can be returned if there are defects! The uses for this tool are innumerable- a quick hem, shortening a strap, keeping a collar popped just to name a few. I will be back to update in a few months of use.

This is an absolute life saver and something I never knew I needed. Now that I have one, I can't ever go back. I ended up buying one for home and one for the office or travel. Its small and light enough that I can easily throw it in my purse. This original brand is better than the discount ones. I had actually bought a knock off/discount one for my office at first, but the stiches are much larger and you can't get good control. with these, they stitches are small enough that you don't end up with big gaps. They also are small and flexible enough that they don't itch if its touching your skin. You can go back and forth between the black and white stiches (its not like you have to finish one strip before using the next). They also work well for holding stuff together if you are mending. I know that pins exist, but this is easier for me and I won't stab myself. Super easy to do, and absolutely worth the price (even though I do think its a tad expensive, still worth it).

Cheap construction, poor design. Included only one needle, and no replacements. Worked, jammed, worked, jammed, finally handled stuck in pull back position and needle broke in its chamber. Priced 12.00 more one week apart.
