Great value!
First of all I got was at Walmart and you get what you pay for. It kept deflating. This ball is great. It’s dirty and it doesn’t deflate like cheaper balls.

Good value exercise
This is a substantial, solid balance ball. They don't have the sex appeal of a barbell, but just add one in to your push-up routine and you'll see that they are a great way to boost the difficulty of your exercises. This ball is about the right size for someone up to 5'7" or so. If you're taller than that, consider getting a 75 cm ball. Regardless, it's a thick, well made ball that will take plenty of abuse and last quite a long time. Setup was easy enough as you can use the included pump to fill it with air, and it includes a few exercises printed on the ball. Youtube is a great resource for more exercises, but they are simple to visualize. You can hold the ball up and do some squats. As simple as that sounds, it really engages your shoulders and other muscle groups better than just using your body. You can take a plank position, but tuck your knees forward and then back over the rolling ball. Better than sit ups for your back, and a harder exercise for your muscles.Etc etc. The ball includes enough exercises to really improve your abdominal muscles, safely and with minimal equipment, and you can easily come up with your own. The ball was comfortable to use, just slightly deflated, and it does tend to lose a little air over time. The included pump is more than adequate for this ball... anything nicer would have led to an expensive price.

Gaiam Self-Guided Stability Ball
A small but useful addition is the illustrations of six popular stability ball moves that run the circumference of the ball. Included is a very bare bones pump but it is surprisingly effective. To inflate the ball with the included pump took a total of 4 minutes of light exertion. A bicycle pump or small compressor will make the initial inflation quicker but the provided device works fine. Two plugs for the air hole are included which is helpful if one is lost/misplaced.The included one-page Care and Safety guide states the ball may not reach 100 percent inflation when first inflated and recommends deflating the ball 50% on the second day and re-inflating. Check the measurement and expect that a small amount of air may need to be added both over the initial period it is in use and over time. The weight limit for the ball is 300 pounds. The website has a wealth of information and instruction on all the items the sell and it has provided tip and exercises for yoga and other work out equipment. Also if seeking more detailed information on inflating the ball the dummies site has information under health/exercise under filling your exercise ball, tightness versus firmness. Excellent.

Good ball but don’t use their measuring tape!
The ball is great for working on core and back strength, helping with yoga, etc. I’m happy with the functionality of the product itself. My only issue is what in the world kind of measurements are they using? You can see from the pictures I included the difference between their included “tape measure” that supposedly measures 65cm and the actual tape measure I use for sewing. Their measurement of 65 cm is way off. Even if you assume they meant inches instead, their measurement is still a bit off. I even did the whole wait-24-hours-then-deflate-and-reinflate thing. I did not feel safe inflating it anymore to make the holes in their tape measure meet. I went around 65 real inches and felt like that was the max the ball could handle safely.

Sturdy and Instructive
This ball is smaller than the previous one I had but I prefer that for storage. It also encourages me to try to some new exercises that work better with a smaller ball. It is thick, strong vinyl that doesn't feel like it will burst with heavy use. I like the exercise suggestions to help spur my memory for things to do when I am tired. Overall a solid choice for an exercise ball. It was easy to inflate and hasn't lost any air yet which is another bonus. It is a little heavier despite being a little smaller than my previous one which I also like. It has more heft to stay in place when I am doing leg exercises.

Question on materials
This is very much like any other higher quality exercise ball, with the handy addition of instructions printed on the ball. I think that really may help motivate the almost motivated person, since they don’t have to memorize what to do or go searching for the instructions which got misplaced somewhere.Minus one star for not telling us what materials this is made of (not even on Gaiam’s site). But that’s JustMe.
