Great
Brilliant, wore to a pop concert and my ears were nicely protected. Didn't affect the quality of the music. Stayed in place and were very comfortable. A tiny bit fiddly to choose your size but

Effective and easy to carry around!
I had these ready by the time I went to a musical show and they were great! Use: I was still able to hear the music and lyrics clearly without the harsh volume while sitting nearer to the front of the stage. I could hear people next to me but they weren't overwhelmingly loud, so you can still converse with those next to you with no issue. Comfort: I wore these for around 2 1/2 hours and I had no ringing in my ears after, even when one was starting to slip out towards the end of the performance. To compare this to a performance I went to without using these, which left me with ear ringing for a few hours, I can safely say it gives the experience of the performace wonderfully while preventing the ringing that would come after. Portability: I attached these to my backpack zippers. The small case stays securely clasped and doesn't break open when just hanging from the back while walking, yet is easy to open and close with my own hands. A good amount of space for the product while taking up very little as a whole, This was perfect portability! A serious consideration if you attend live music, loud performances or make music on the regular!

Good earplugs, let down by accessories and pricing
The actual earplugs themselves are comfortable and do a good job at reducing volume without totally muffling whatever you're listening to. They preserve the highs a lot better than other earplugs I have tried, and they don't let in too much bass, i.e. they do sound relatively flat (compared to other brands). If you want better than this you're going to have to go for a pricey custom fit pair. They are let down by the accessories and so lose a star. The case is soft, combined with the clip it is bulky, the zip feels like it might open in your pocket and the earplugs may go missing. I wouldn't bother with the 'cord'. It's a cheap thin string with cheap plastic clips. The cleaning spray is pointless, the instructions tell you to wash with soap and water before using the spray, and this does a good job of cleaning them so I'm not sure what the point of the spray is, other than a waste of plastic and money. I would recommend based on the performance of the earplugs alone if you value a flatter requency response, but alpine could produce a much more appealing offering by simply selling the earplugs + an aluminium carrying tube for slightly less money (they do this for their other products, why not this one?). The current pricing is a bit steep for what you get.

Saved my hearing at a concert!
Went to see the prodigy, this time I wore these as I couldn’t hear properly for a couple of days after the last one! Absolutely brilliant! No ringing in my ears, could hear people talking and the music so didnt stop any enjoyment. Highly recommend!

Good Ear plugs. Work Well.
I bought these ear plugs for my daughter, who plays keyboards in a band next to the drummer. They are just what she needed: They basically turn down the volume, without muffling it, so she can still hear things, but not to the point where the sound is potentially damaging her ears. The earplugs are bendy, which makes them easy to fit into and out of the ear. They are also comfortable to wear and small enough to not really be that noticeable. It's also good that they come in a little case. The case is approximately 5cm long and around 2.5cm wide, and could be fitted onto a keyring. It is much easier to find the case in a bag or pocket rather than having loose earplugs! It also keeps them clean. So all in all, I am very happy with these earplugs and would highly recommend them.

Good ear plugs bad for musicians
They work really good as ear plugs but they're very bad for musicians and concerts as the sound is a bit muffled rather than filtered and clear. Quite small for my ears and nearly got lost and stock inside my ears, they're quite hard to pull out

Great for festivals
I bought these for a concert as I’ve got the motorbike alpines and find them to be comfy and great! These were great they didn’t take away from the music but helped me to have minimal ear ringing at a trance festival, even with being straight in front of the speakers (so close it made our hair feel like we were in a fan!) Great quality and fit really well. Case is great to pop them in your pocket and fit really nicely

Not really suitable for small ears
The last gig I went to, I really struggled with the noise levels and definitely noticed some after effects. The gigs I go to are generally quite heavy on the bass, and are accompanied by guys head-banging (normally in front of the shortest person, ie me.) My dad has been using these for a little while now, due to tinnitus, so I thought I’d get myself a pair too. These don’t completely muffle the sound, which I was expecting, but just take the top edge off it, so you don’t suffer the ringing/buzzing after a particularly loud gig. Within a gig atmosphere, I did struggle to hear conversations, but this is easily sorted by taking one out. In a quieter atmosphere, this wouldn’t be an issue. Due to my shockingly small ears, these aren’t as subtle as I would have preferred, as you can see by the photo. They are definitely noticeable, despite being transparent, and also don’t seem to go quite as far into my ear, compared to my dad’s. (I tried wiggling to different positions, they didn’t go any further in.) They do feel extremely comfortable though, and I only really noticed them if I went to itch my ear, or something similar. After using them on one gig, I haven’t noticed the effects that I did the last time, so these are quite useful, and I will continue to use them. It does come with a very small handy carry case, and also a cylindrical case, that can be attached to your keys. My only other quibble is that these are quite small and could easily be lost or put in a “safe place”, which will never be remembered.

Bought for spin class and doesn’t distort the music and still able to hear instructions clearly. Great if you have sensitive ears and want to tone down the loudness of music during spin classes

Très pratique et confortable. Bonne réduction du bruit sans atténuation de la qualité auditive.

They used to make glass ended ones which were rounded, less long, not painful, and better at blocking sound. Unfortunately I lost mine so ordered these, which are the current closest match. Plastic ends of these are too long and painful rubbing into earlobe over time. Also less effective at protecting hearing and my hearing has been further damaged wearing these in the same places where the glass ones previously protected.
