assembled in the US. if you buy from amazon or HD(homedepot), it is shipped out from MS. I took a picture of the electric motor, and I believe it says made in mexico. The only thing I made sure to do is rebuilt the drain fitting under the tank. I built a complete brass fitting assembly from HD plumbing section. But everything else about the unit is solid man.

High volume LOW PRESSURE, yes this has enough. HVLP spray with under 10 PSI,you would not have to worry about the compressor keeping up. It might turn on while spraying but you would never run out of the pressure needed to spray the hvlp

Q: where to get replacement air filters for this need all 3 of them

I just called the number on the manual and they sent me some. I got em free cause it was missing two when it came but think you can order from them too cause he was gonna charge me at first.

Q: Will this compressor build up pressure and turn off while using a air sander?

We recommend that the CFM be doubled on whatever tool you are using. IE: A sander requires 2.5 CFM. Double it and it would be 5 CFM.
