Great story that starts fast!
I have loved all of the Amos Decker books so far as they are much more complicated than most books I read and this one doesn't disappoint.Great story about spying and betrayal and Decker finally solved everything just in time to help save the day.

Talk abput thrilling!
Talk about a thriller! Baldacci once again has wowed skeptical me with a plot that wasn't only circuitous and unpredictable, it actually got my pulse racing a couple of times. His characters remain true to form and completely human. Again, his descriptions paint the setting without excessive embellishment (which ,I find detracts from a novel) so I absolutely enjoyed and recommend this book.

a thriller
Amos Decker and Alex Jamison have done it again. This plot had a lot of twists and turns. It kept me interested and curious. Decker witnessed a murder in broad daylight, which sets into motion the rest of the story. Definitely worth the read.

Decker grows on you...
I enjoy David Baldacci's stories. It took me until Book 3 to want to read more. The hero is multi-facted but takes some time to "imagine" as any story strives to go. I enjoy a good mystery. Onto #4.

Nice story
I really like the characters and adventures in the series but this one was a little draggy. Ill keep reading the rest of this series though and am playing to read some of the others as well. Do love all the twists in the story lines.

What is not to like?
This book, The Fix, is the 3rd in the series. Do yourself a favor and start with book one, Memory Man. You won't be sorry. The main character of this series is as unique and complicated as Sherlock Holmes or Hercule Poirot. Two events made him who he is. First, a devastating brain injury on the football field that left him with perfect recall. He remembers everything he has seen, heard or experienced in any way.The second event, the murder of his wife and daughter now remain as vivid in his remarkable memory as the day it happened. The writing is excellent. The plotting is excellent. The characters are believable and and well drawn. The stories are complex page turners.Start at the beginning with Memory Man. You won't be sorry. I repeat. What's not to like?

Enjoyed the read
Good twists with clues you remember and wonder how they will tie in. I would have liked more on the bad guys and what they were doing developed, UT understand that would give away the "big thing"

Good plotting
My first David Baldacci book, read because recommended by a friend. Didn't want to like it because I already have too many detective stories on my shelf....but it was entertaining and kept me guessing until the revelation of the crime's genisis. The main characters were quite likeable too, so now I'm going to (sigh...) order another Baldacci !

Good read
Amos Dexter the hero. Doesn't do things by the book. But he is the guy when the going gets tough.
