i first bought a rockford fosgate product in 1991. any one out there , remember the punch 45 amp. and ofcourse the 75 and 150. my point is, its rockford fosagte, its thee bang for the buck. even though its no longer made in america and hasnt been for several years. top quality still. wich im thankfull for, i would hate to see rockford fosgate go away. these prime series woofers are great, im an s.q.l. guy, i like quality sound. these do it well, great price too...

Awesome deal and bump for the cash.
Amazing dealzzz was the third party that sent this from Cali. Just like the other photos, some of the styrofoam was stuck to the speaker rim. But it came off easily with some acetone on a terry cloth. CAREFUL NOT TO GET ACETONE ON THE SPEAKER. This sub hits hard. I’m powering it with a Rockford Fosgate 500.1 mono amp running 300 watts RMS at 4ohm stable. It also came with the bass control and connections. Awesome deal and awesome sound. 5 stars.

It hits the lows really good and the mids are ok
I bought this subwoofer a while ago, and it got shipped to my house in two weeks. I played it on a low volume for two days before I started turning up the volume. It is being pushed by an old 200 watt Optimus amp that I got for free. It is in my 1998 Blazer and you can hear it almost two blocks away! If you properly break in this sub it slams! It hits the lows really good and the mids are ok. I gave this a 4/5 because you can hear quite a bit of vocals coming out of it instead of just bass. Overall this is an awesome subwoofer and I would recommend it to anyone interested, oh and it is in a Sealed box if you put it into a ported box it would be even louder.

GIVE THEM TIME TO BREAK IN
I, like many, was skeptical about these subs when I first received them. I've had dozens of subs and these were some of the most arrogant to break in. They sounded very stiff and boomy for at least 50hrs of break in, which I do for all my speakers before installing them at all. Was about ready to return them when it all turned around. They are not super sensitive for the low power rating but I am using them in a home application with a 15 inch Boss Audio tucked away in the closet cross firing, so that takes care of the LOWS while these fill in all the audible bass and punchiness. I don't think these would be good for ported application but in a 1.7cuft sealed box with LOTS of ployfill they do justice. Also DO NOT over power these, I run between 220-250rms to each and they don't like anything more. Still a good upgrade over my old Pioneer's. If you're looking for volume and something that can be abused, for the money I'd recommend SKAR's I-x series but since quality and accuracy were more important to me these fit the bill. If you're just going to immediately put full power to em you may as well buy something with less refinement.

Dont make em like they used to
"Dont make em like they used to" Loved Rockford back in my day. Hooked this one up in my son's car and it sounded good throughout 3 week break in period. At about half gain from a 500w 2 channel polk amp the sub blew within 30 min. Save yourself the trouble and go with a better brand or buy an extremely cheap amp.

decent little sub
It's not exactly loud bass but it does sound clean. I had a 15 in mtx tr55 before this and there is no comparison BUT for an entry level sub its great. It performs good and is a great deal for 50$

Great sound
For a entry level sub at 250w RMS this sub sounds great, I put it in a QBomb enclosure with a 5in mounting depth and placed it behind the seat of a single cab 1990 Silverado:)
