I’ve been using this steamer iron now for about a month. I purchased it to replace our traditional steam iron - which I dropped a few times and is now not working as well as before. We are a family of four and it seems we are ALWAYS ironing a large load at laundry time. I got tired of having to constantly refill the previous iron so I thought this large capacity tank steam iron would be a great replacement. LIKES: large capacity water tank, steam function is amazing- most times it’s a ONE PASS AND DONE with that garment so ironing is definitely faster, heats up VERY quickly, iron hand-held is very lightweight, silicone iron rest is great, ceramic sole plate was SUPER easy to clean with a paper towel when I accidentally ironed the graphic design on a t-shirt - I now just steam iron the BACK of the t-shirt and all wrinkles on front and back are obliterated. The locking mechanism that locks the iron to the water tank base is great. DISLIKES: can be a bit cumbersome for QUICK ironing of a garment due to the water tank size (sometimes I use the old steam iron for that), the tank maybe too large to sit on the ironing board like a traditional steam iron can (I sit this one on the kitchen table while using), there is no retractor for the electric cord, the steamer cord doesn’t wrap all the way around the water tank base so I’ve had to be creative. I wrap the electric cord around the water tank base first then wrap the steamer cord around the base once, securing both within the cord holder prior to storing. It doesn’t look pretty but it’s tucked away neatly. Overall, my dislikes are not a dealbreaker for me. I am HAPPY with the device, it gets the job done and quickly!

I really wanted to like this steam station because the design and specs look great on paper, but actual use fell short of expectations. 🔹 Steam Power Is Inconsistent For a machine this size and price, the steam output is underwhelming. It starts strong, then quickly drops off, making it frustrating to tackle stubborn wrinkles. 🔹 Bulky and Not User-Friendly The unit is large and heavy, and the hose management isn’t great. It takes up a lot of space and doesn’t feel as “professional” or efficient as advertised. 🔹 Heat-Up and Reliability Issues While it claims fast heat-up, real-world performance is hit or miss. I also experienced occasional shut-offs that interrupted ironing sessions. ✅ Pros: Large water tank reduces refills Nice-looking design Ceramic soleplate glides smoothly when it works properly ❌ Cons: Inconsistent steam output Bulky and awkward to maneuver Performance doesn’t justify the price Overall: This steam station has potential, but the execution isn’t there. For the cost, I expected stronger, more reliable performance. It might work for light, occasional use, but it’s not the upgrade it claims to be.

it doesn't produce steam continuously. You have to wait several seconds between burst and they don't come when you depress the steam button, but some seconds after you release it, or at times, unannounced. There is supposed to be a manual and automatic steam function, but it just means you can't move or the machine will burn the crips out of your hands and arms. In addition, it leaks boiling water, so your feet and legs will be burned as well. I'm returning this and am buying a Rowenta. Three times as expensive, but worth it.

I have been impressed with this steam iron so far. I have always been a Rowenta user and have purchased two of their versions in the past at around the $350 range. They worked great until the trigger mechanism broke. This unit is alot less in price and puts out alot of steam. What i like best is when you double tap the trigger, it gives you continuous steam until you tap it again. We'll worth the money.
