Sardines No Salt Added 4.4 Oz.

I started buying Wild Planet sardines in water for my elderly dog who has heart issues, as a way for her to take her medicin, and I’m so thankful I found these. It’s been hard finding something clean, healthy, and gentle enough for her system, but these have been amazing. She only uses a pinch and I rub it on her food and put less then a small fork full of 1 fish, about 1/4 of fish daily. I freeze the rest after putting each in a freezer bag so I dont have to defrost the entire bag for such a little amount of a sardine. The ingredients are simple and high quality, with no unnecessary additives, which gives me peace of mind. They’re packed in water (not oil), which is exactly what I was looking for for her condition. She absolutely loves them, and I love knowing I’m giving her something nutritious that supports her health instead of harming it and she will eat her pills as I've tried everything. If you have a senior dog or a pet with health concerns, or have issues with giving dogs medicine or maybe as a small snack every now and then, I highly recommend giving these a try! I hage no idea what they taste like and don't want to try them, but they don't smell terrible. Just like fresh regular fish. It doesn't smell like the smell sardines get a bad rep for. I do know sardines are very healthy for people if you do eat them, I recommend this brand. I tried everything lol and nothing worked untik I founf a video of a lady with a dog with heart issues... our dog has a severely enlarged heart, murmers and stage C meaning close to heart failure and is 13.5 but we are praying she will shock all the vets and live for years longer. I also watched a holistic vet talk about the benefits of sardines just small amounts. 5 stars.

I add a small amount of this to my 2 year old dog’s food in the morning or evening...it depends but I use them often lol. Be sure to do what is best for your dog but these are premium! I love this brand! Many other brands smell so strong and underwhelming which I understand it’s sardines but these don’t smell strongly or super fishy. They contain no salt which is impotent for your dog, and are in water. Dogs shouldn’t have sardines in anything but water and many other brands will contain small amounts of sodium which you need to watch when feeding to your pet. I dump these in a Tupperware and put bits on her food to help with her coat, itching, allergies (she doesn’t have any) and it’s a very good source of omegas for her. They are fresh looking, ick smell free, thick lol, and she loves them. I have gotten other brands and she isn’t a picky eater but she won’t eat alot of the other brands. She LOVES these and they do contain the skin, bone parts and eyes which is all the healthy part for your dog! I haven’t personally tasted these myself lol but they don’t smell bad it’s just not in my wheelhouse at the moment. I suppose they are on the pricier side but one can lasts her a a week of meals (maybe five days) and I think it’s worth it due to the high quality of the sardines. There is a reason these don’t make you gag when you open them. They are fresh!

It is more expensive than other brands. The quality and protein content are very good, I especially like the no salt version in water. But the price keeps going up and the taste is excellent.
