This gel is amazing!! Works great for Loc maintenance/re-twist, I use it faithfully. Only product I have used when doing my own hair. And it smells good.

I dont have a lot of experience with gel hold but this one is okay, i wish it were stronger and lasted longer than a week

As someone who is still learning the best methods for retwisting my own locs, this gel was a lifesaver for me. I definitely would recommend it for a beginner who still needs to work on their technique, but also doesn’t want their retwist to be in vain. It has great hold! I wouldn’t recommend using it as an edge control or anything (sought residue) but I was very happy with this purchase!

Package came open & melted I’m irritated I was looking forward to using this product to retwist my locs the only good thing is the product smells so good but I have to throw it away due to the jar being ruined

The picture and the actual product that got sent to me are two different things. Where on the bottle in the picture it says "Starts and maintain locs and twist naturally. Long lasting no build up" The one that got sent says difficult to loc hair. extra hold. great for gray hair. This is not what I wanted. This does make a difference as I have used a product similar to this one. Usually if It was the product the picture shows it to be, the locking del would be a yellow somewhat thick substance. The one that they sent was white and creamy. I used it to give it a try but once again you can tell the difference.
